Re: Borgata trip 5/25-5/29
olds, i have flown BORGATA AIR a couple of times, most recently, about 1 year ago. the jet holds about 20 or so people and one needs to contact borgata air, which one can google. the flights are very nice, free booze and a snack. one of the best parts is, because it is a smaller jet, it has access to the smaller private area of most large airports. this means not needing to go thru main airport and no security. all one needed to do is show up about one half hour in adavnce. you will need to check your airport. once in AC, there is a bus waiting for you and takes you to casino, where you check in, through a seperate line, so it is quite fast. as a low level diamond member, i never paid anything. i only play VP. all in all, it is a first class experience, and the only opportunity i will have to fly, like the wealthy folks. in regards to the property, i have commented often that i believe it to be the best overall place in AC. the problem for me was that it was till AC. no matter how much i want AC to go back to it's old ways, the very few times i go there, my gambling luck never changes, it is always bad. and, the borgata is no different. on my last trip to AC, which i posted about, i stopped in to borgata to get some free play, it was bad again.

Not a trip report, but Friday afternoon spent 3 hrs. at Borg on $1.00 SDB. Literally with one minute before I needed to leave, down $600, held 2 aces and drew 2 more for $800. Got the hell outta there.

It's so satisfying to snatch back your bankroll from the clutches of defeat. I could imagine the stress and knot in your stomach growing over the hours. The uncertainty of whether to bail for another machine and come back. That's all so wretched and draining. Literally the last minute!Get a break or have a breakdown. Those are my polarities.

Got the hell outta there.I am glad you were able to avoid the loss, well done. SDB = Super Double Bonus .... or "Supremely Depleted Bankroll"??? Car, at the borgata, what was the paytable of the SDB game/machine on which you were playing this game ???? My last trip to Borgata, I was pleased at the large selection of diverse VP games they seemed to have spread throughout the casino, but I did not really have the chance (or urge) to take a detailed comparative look at the paytables on each machine throughout the casino ......

Your right FAA all of their slant top machine are old and in rough shape. Their non smoking machine have cigarette holes on the arm rests and dirty screens. The bar tops at the B bar were newer, but most of them at least one button or the touch screen didn't work but common with bar tops.

Great One, I finally hit Borgata; eighteen month absence. Still a bit turned off by the old floor machines, but they sure do pay! I also made my way to B Bar, where I had a machine whose second button was useless. Luckily, the effort to touch the screen on a slant top at a bar is minimal and much easier to overlook than at an upright. Another bar top had a hard button. But I can learn to work past such nuisances in this environment. It's all much more tolerable here.I see why it's your go to casino in a city flooded with them. I am newly converted. Awesome to have a winning day where all the machines welcomed me back. Salvation is at hand!

Sounds Good! Glad to hear you had a winning trip. The sticky buttons at the bar are always a problem. But, people spill drinks and that's what happens . Occasionally I'll play there. My girlfriend always play poker there for the free drinks. Jim
