Staying at Planet Hollywood

Post by Sandrina Roc »

Has anyone stayed there lately?  I'm getting a Strip Suite comped by my host for 4 nights because my daughter is coming and wants to stay there but I've never stayed there.  Is there coffee in the room?  It doesn't mention that in the room description.  (The last time I asked that question about another CET casino some fool berated me, thinking that wasn't an important question. Fool: please keep your 2-cents to yourself )

You're right; the room description does not mention coffee but I'd like to think that the room is equipped with a small coffee maker and atleast enough fixins for 2 cups of morning coffee.    Have you given any thought to ordering coffee through room service and then seeing if the host will comp it at the end of your stay?   Have fun, when are you going to be there?

the only suite i have ever stayed at in vegas was at Paris, so cannot offer anything about PH. would just assume that being a suite, it would have to be pretty nice. i also need my coffee in the am, but i avoid the coffee makers in the rooms, never know what some jerk has done to anything that has not been sterilized. ted has a good idea, wake up, order good coffee and if you are getting a comp suite, host will likely comp something small like coffee.

I've stayed at suites at other CET hotels and except for Cromwell, where they have a coffee pot and the fixings at the elevator (trying to mimic Europe?), they had coffee pots.  I had a Keurig at the Linq.  I'm going in August, 4 days there and 4 days at the Flamingo.  I get free suites from my host for all nights I'm there so I don't expect him to comp me much more and he doesn't :)   If I ask he would but I don't ask.

Good luck to you when you go; I'll be out there August 20 thru August 24, staying at Rio.

Just got back from Vegas yesterday. Stayed at Caesars and it was very nice. Had a mini suite, which was great. If you stay here, be prepared for a lot of walking, and I don't mean outside on the Strip. This place is huge. There are not many vp machines. I did get 3 royals at $1, $2 and $5 levels (only 3 coins in at the $5 level)     For those of you going to Planet Hollywood, there are many vp machines. I wasn't there long enough to see the variety. Do go and see Jeff Dunham. His show was terrific. Be prepared to laugh so much that you might need Depends. The best meal we had was at Planet Hollywood at The Strip House.
