Condition of AC Boardwalk
With all of the casinos closing on the Boardwalk, how safe is it to even walk on the Boardwalk at non-peak times?

I've never had a problem but then again I don't stroll the boardwalk or any place else at 3am.

With all of the casinos closing on the Boardwalk, how safe is it to even walk on the Boardwalk at non-peak times? It is still quite safe even at the most vacant and dark hours, such as 3 am on a Wednesday .... the police regularly have both a patrol car making a pass every 20-30 minutes actually ON the board walk, along with some recently added/updated surveilance cameras at various points along the most traversed parts of the BWalk.During the summer (i.e. NOW) rarely is it ever totally empty, even on Tuesdays/Wednesdays at 3-4am! Of course, it is always smart to be aware and vigilant.....you never know.Avoid walking past the Showboat however....until the finally square away the Showboat and Revel and get them reoccupied, that part of the boardwalk is kinda creepy and (if bad people were likely to lie in ambush) that would probably be the place they'd try something.....
