I took a walk down to the Trop to check out the VP poker Bar ( 10 North
Bar ) which is located close to the north tower and the tables on the
casino floor. I'm trying to remember all they had. They have about 6 machine with Ultimate X, Supertimes, & Spin PokerThey have about 10 machines with JOB (9-5), DDB (9/6 ),  Deuces Wild ( wild royal paid 25 w/ 1 coin bet ).Sorry, I can't remember the other games. The bar/lounge area is very nice with very comfortable chairs. Drinks are comp during play and they're open 24/7.



Unfortunately the Deuces game could be either crap or decent depending on how much a full house and flush pays.

But was it 9/6 DDB (98.98%) at quarters? That would be pretty good. Makes me hope deuces would be 25/15/9/4/4/3 (98.91%).

I felt intimidated by the environment at Tropicana VP lounge. This is the case with any new place for me. I will be much more secure and confident if I return. The quarter JOB was 8/5 on my machine. It took a while to even realize this basic fact. The triple play set up takes up the entire screen!

Tropicana recently had a $55,000 Joker Poker jackpot hit. The screen showed three hands of a joker followed by four aces. An attendant tagged the machine with a note: "You're a Winner."

Machine was above 99% when it was hit. That game is a real pain to play though. Briefly helped someone play it on Thursday. 3 to flushes, 3 to straights...just hold an 8...ugh.

I wouldn't touch it even if I mastered the game. The trouble was worth it for some lucky SOB, who must have been well bankrolled. Their overall balance was well above the win total.
