People asking these "great questions" can answer the questions themselves, with answers they are comfortable with......they still are unable to adequately answer WHY in the last 10 years (or so) it has become VERY hard to have or attain results that are close to statistically normal results as it was in the past;  why it is agreed by the MAJORITY of players (it is) that ALL winning is down, especially hand pays/ w-2 gs.I have only claimed that AC video poker has some clear problems with SOME of the machines I have encountered over the last 7 years.  I have clearly stated I still trust Nevada/Vegas video poker......this is in line with other posters' thoughts on how SOME jurisdictions (like AC), due to a variety of reasons, have some levels of malfeasance and corruption and error and incompetence within them, ALL of which can induce or contribute to the issues I am raising and reporting......it is that simple.     I have seen incontrovertible evidence (namely MY PLAY results and that of others) in and on certain AC casinos and VP machines which defy statistical explanation given the normal regular assumptions about how Video Poker is SUPPOSED to work.Just because some casinos (most casinos) have Video Poker set up to earn fewer comps and have been lowering paytables does not preclude ALSO screwing with actual play results.     Even on a 6/5 JOB paytable, the possibility for a 4000 credit hit on a royal REMAINS the same, which is still much better than most SLOTS, so the casino still suffers exposure it finds problematic given the economic and business realities of TODAY!    Why is that so hard to accept on your part?     CASINOS are FAILING!   This is previously an unheard of (and inconceivable reality!)   Do you fathom what that does to the mindset of the greedy, republican, right wing gun toting owners and investors who own and run most of these casinos?      The competition and economy is extremely volatile and challenging for most casinos, so what do you think the effect of that is????    Seriously, how can you just dismiss all this?ALSO, the reason they do these things with VP comps and paytables is simply that experience video poker players like YOU and ME would be even MORE suspicious than we already are IF......IF the casinos had all 99+% Paytables that were producing these statistically aberrant, horrid results!   DUH!    Same with the apparent scaling back of comps and points for VP play......this is just the casinos desperation given the economy.....and as I said, even lousy 95% VP paytables are far superior to MANY slot machines (especially in places like AC where most slots are 87=88%!  or worse!)  so it is NOT a stretch to imagine the right casino, in the right circumstances, feeling it justified to slash or mess with VP % even further, especially in AC where it is indeed just another form of slots anyway.I challenge BACK anyone to go to AC, and ask around, casino execs, managers, floor people, etc  and have them "try" to explain AC rules and regs for slot return%, where and how it applies to video poker, etc.  You will be boggled to see, hear and learn what you get in reply.......I'm serious.     And until you do, you have no basis (other than YOUR own opinion and ideas) to say that I am 100% wrong or off base.

I acknowledge the problem. It's all about how you address it. Find a venue providing statistically normal results. This may take a while.
