Found out from a mailer today grand casinos in mn are eliminating this great game once and for all by years end. I had a good run with them, will miss them.

At the time Minnesota's tribal gaming compact was signed, OEJ was grandfathered in as the only game in the state which could legally return over 98.5%, so it was the only +EV game in town. The downside was playing on machines from the dawn of the VP era and dealing with the complexities of a strategy card that ran to multiple pages. Newer OEJ games I have seen are not +EV. Last I was at Treasure Island there were still two banks of full pay OEJ, four for quarters and four for dollars. That was at least a couple years ago tho. I might could make a run to Hinkley to play it once more for old time's sake...

The TI machines have been gone for some time.
Prairie's edge in granite falls however has some quarter OEJ machines with the "full pay" payout.

Just another reason to stay out of Grand Casinos in Minnesota. And there are a multitude of reasons!
