Looks like this new casino will be class two bingo machines instead of class three slots and VP... should be interesting! http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/loc ... /32568177/

How long do you think that will last? The State will receive no revenue from Class II games. Further, the State will have NO over-site on the games. With the State's biggest Bingo Hall and an unlimited number of look-a-like machines, they will crush both VQ and the non-profit allowed Bingo games.

Yeah, seems stupid! The state will not get any part of the profits. If Governet Doug Ducey was smart, he would allow this casino class 3 gaming, and use this money to fund Arizona's lacking education fund. It is not like this casino is right next to another... there seems to be plenty of gamblers to go around in the valley.

I don't think the Tribe will give it a second thought. They can have as many machines as they want without a compact. Server based Class two games that will look and feel like regular slots to most players, with NO State over-site or "CUT". Throw in Class II "Lottery"/"Keno" and the ploppers will go nuts with all the variations, plus OTB for horse/dog racing. I'd go so far as to include a form of Sports Betting, that is based loosely on a Class II lottery design.

What I've been waiting for, since before IGRA is for the tribes as sovereign entities to start "Free Trade Zones" selling STATE TAX FREE Gasoline and Booze just like the Smoke Shops. Certain provisions of Arizona compacts detail the booze area. NO COMPACT, no RESTRICTIONS.

Looks like at least one court ruling went in the tribe's/Glendale's favor. "Appeals court rules Glendale group cannot force vote to overturn casino deal."

Appeals court ruling
