Gold Coast new favorite casino
In 3 weeks, I will be returning to Vegas. Whereas I used to stay at the Rio and other Harrahs properties, I now am a B Connected member and it has been great. I truly enjoy the Gold Coast and Orleans, with the 3 way action poker that I just can't get enough of!!! Nice, clean rooms and many restaurants to choose from. this time I will also be adding 2 days down at Main Street Station, but their machines are somewhat outdated and not that many new games to choose from but an old standby favorite for me. California too. Won $26,000 on a sequential royal at the California, so I do enjoy that one. Again, Good restaurants and easy to get to.

I agree. I stayed at the Gold Coast on my last trip and would absolutely stay there again. Although I mainly walk across the street to the Palms to play. My room was very clean and the food prices are much better than the strip. Twenty plus years ago when I lived in Vegas I could walk to the Gold Coast in about 3 minutes. They has a movie theater and bowling alley then.

I stay at Gold Coast a lot as well. They comp rooms and lots of multiplier days to build up food comps. Actually I like all the Boyd properties. Stay away from Harrah's if you are a gambler.I will be in Vegas in January and again in Feb and will stay at Gold Coast, California, Sam's Town and Bolder Station. I probably won't even set foot on the Strip.

I only stay at Boyd properties. I will be at Gold Coast, Orleans and Main St. Station for 2 weeks in Jan. Love the 3-way action video poker at Gold Coast. Maybe not the most luxurious rooms but since I am rarely in the room, it really doesn't matter. Pfft to Harrah's. You don't pay, I don't go.

If you're at Main street Station in the January 9 -13 time frame, and happen to notice a silver-haired guy putting in a lot of time on the All Star machines playing multiline bonus poker, or on the 25c NSU uprights on the west wall, that'll likely be me.
Feel free to stop and say hello.

OMT and Cookie - I hope you both have an enjoyable time in Las Vegas and the machines are kind to you.

I'll be at Main Street the 6th to the 10th. Please leave some wins for me. Since I too am and of the silver hairs I like the grown up atmosphere at Main Street. Enough poker between it and the Cal to keep me busy.

Stay away from Harrah's is something I'm hearing a lot lately, our local Harrah's closed down a while back, I wasn't sorry to see it go. The place is still standing but there isn't a single buyer in sight from what I've read. I did hear a very, very modest offer was made by a group who had an interest in seeing it turned into a retirement community. The last casino in this area that sold was scheduled to be closed but a last minute offer for pennies on the dollar was made and it remained opened, the last time I went there it looked as if they paid more than $100 they made a poor buy.
