full screen ipad

Aloha!...have had video poker app on iPad for years now...just got a new iPad, updated app and now it is in the windowed style with adds at the top. Any way to go back to full screen? I have purchased several packs and retrieved those , but still only plays with the boarders, etc....and on a iPad mini so even smaller..lol. am a gold member if that helps, thanks!
