UPDATE: Phase 2 underway!

Post by Webman »

We're excited to move into the next phase of testing with the addition of some new features and we need your feedback! There have been a number of additions and fixes. The main new features include:*Private Challenge Contests - challenge another player to a given number of rounds in your favorite game for bragging rights. You may challenge players by clicking on their username in the Top 10 list, via the new player directory, or within the "Contests" tab. See "Contests" tab within the beta center for more information.*Watch Lists - Track your favorite players and friends more easily. During gameplay you can view either the overall top 10 players of the day or the top 10 players in your Watch List. Add players to your watch list by clicking  on their username in the Top 10 list or via the new player directory. We anticipate a lot of updates over the next week, so please visit this Beta Feedback Forum daily to check for status updates and if you come across a bug, please report it immediately. To begin testing, click the handy little "BETA GAMES" button in the navigation.Best of Luck! And thanks in advance for testing these new features. We look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for the great effort, and for incorporating the player suggestions.  Nice to have my "fave", single line play - I wish we had that kind of game selection and pays on the multi-game machines here in CO.

On the original beta site, a few of us noticed that some of the bottom line cards would jump a little between a deal and a draw.  Looks like someone took care of that - so thanks for that as well.

So far so good. Haven't tried the new features, yet.

Did have one thing happen. Out of the blue, while playing , I was just thrown the hell off the site, yesterday afternoon. Don't know if it was the site, my PC, my local provider or a sun spot. if it happens again I'll try to capture the particulars.

I just had an unusual situation. I started playing and the scores have been updated several times but my results have not appeared in the scores. I think I'll just leave it alone for awhile and see what happens.

I just went to my dashboard and it shows 0 points for me. I suspect it is because I just left the webpage up ovenight and started playing. I bet if I reloaded the webpage it would work OK.

I was just playing 50 play, and there's an Invisible Man in the top scores list.  The score moves up and down, but no name is shown.  Thought it was you living up to your name ("Wow! How did he do that?").

I see it too and it's not me. I also noticed on my system that there are no scores between -1000 and +1000. Does this seem reasonable?

On 50 play?  You should have seen at least me moving up and down through that range while I was playing.  I played for about 15 minutes, and spend most of my time in that range.  Maybe my stops there happened between updates and you didn't see it.

The Invisible Man was also showing on the main scores screen for 50 play, the one that shows the daily/weekly/monthly scores.  A score, but no name.  So that problem isn't just something funky on the 50 play screen itself.

No, there is one tester without a username.  I'm not sure how they snuck in that way... possibly someone sent them a direct link rather than signing up through the forum. In any event, I shall now hereby name them... "Invisible Man."Invisible Man,  I have sent you an email... let me know if you would like a different username.

The invisible man is probably just webman going incognito.

I suspect that 50 play is the problem along with few players early in the AM. It just seemed a little odd ...

I have seen my own score between that range, just no one else. My scores did start showing up after I reloaded so I think that is a problem that should be fixed.

I also need another fix. I was dealt a good hand just as my cat walked over my keyboard pressing enter before I could hold any cards.

Can't help you with the cat, shadowman.  I'm interested in the scores not showing up though.  I will PM you for details to get to the bottom of it.
