I just got back from Vegas and I'm sad to report that I could find none of the "Bob Dancer machines" that used to be in the Silverton casino. I didn't look at every single corner but I did survey it over a 45 minute period. Looked for about 30 minutes on Thursday night and again Friday morning. I found a lot of Bonus Poker but very little JoB
of any kind. What was there was less than 9/6. Finally I did find about three machines that were JoB 9/6 but not in the profusion that there once was. They were stuck over in a corner. Not a lot of less than
What happened????? Kind of sad. I booked the hotel there because of the good machines that were there last June. Shoot! Not anymore. We are going back for a long weekend next month. I sure hope it improves but I'm NOT holding my breath.
Scratch off Silverton....at least partially

The "Dancer" endorsed machines are gone. However, there are still some full pay machines back by the aquarium and close to Bass Pro Shop. They are uprights, multigame, multi-denomination in quarter as the lowest denomination. I played Double Bonus at 10/7 and did rather well.I will be back there for a short visit if we follow our "plans". When we go to Vegas, we always make plans though once we get there, most of the time those plans are left either on the airplane or in the hotel if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I saw those but I really liked the nickel machines as the quarters can get expensive fast. The nickels have really gotten lost at Silverton at any decent pay schedule.

Well, you can get nickel denomination at Fiesta Henderson. They have one bank of Optimum play slant-tops but I think have only DDB on those machines. Then they have a bank of 4 or 5 uprights close to restrooms that have several 100% payback games including DB and DDB I think.Boulder Station has Optimum Play slant-tops that have nickel denominations.Texas Station has DIME optimum play DB and DDB and probably others as well.4-Queens has nickel full pay JOB (uprights near Keno Lounge)Fitzgerald's has nickel Bonus Poker back close to the hotel registration counter.Main Street Station has One full pay DDB nickel machine. The rest of the games on that one machine are short pay except for DDB. All the other machines in that bank (probably 8 of them) are short pay on everything.

Yeah, The Silverton's machines were't up to the hype. I went in early Sept. after planning for about 2 years. I was enthusiatic about Mr. Dancer's achievements and a practically guaranteed good time gaming. The full pay JOB's I did find had been played hard and were in poor condition. The Outdoor World was a hoot so the trip wasn't a complete waste. Ended up at the Four Queens and had a swell time. Thanks for all the info.

I like the 4-Queens also. Walked in there and walked out 15 minutes later with a little cash in my hand. Would have stayed longer but my wife wanted to eat. Dinner was free!

A good gamble at the Queens. Service was good. Staff most helpful. Perhaps it was just me but beware of faulty machines that may steal a bet without giving play. Congrats JDanno on the free dinner and jingle. 15 minutes seems about right in any casino. Any longer and I have a tendency to walk out hungry and with empty pockets. What's the Poisson curve on perpetual losing? And how can I make money off of it?

I visit LV & Laughlin 3-5 times annually. Is there a house better than the others in terms of loose or looser???
