Noise

Post by MikeA »

This is really nit-picky WM.  Periodically though I cannot determine what triggers it, I am getting that alert that you get when you click on the "Max Bet" button.  I seem to recall getting this alert in all the games but definitely, I am getting it in the single line games. It does not seem to be related to increasing or decreasing credit boundaries.

Figured out what was happening.  Still don't know if it is a bug or not.  I think that in my rapid play, I was clicking on "Max Bet" when I was "aiming" for "DEAL".  Only happens on the DEAL, not on the DRAW.  The results are the same other than the machine making the alert noise.  The hand is dealt at maximum credits bet.But in trying to figure out for sure that was what was happening, I found another glitch in the button-detection logic.  If you click on "DEAL" and rapidly drag the mouse across "Max Bet" before you release the left-click button on the mouse, the bet resets to "1".  This happens when you are really trying to jam in the max hands per hour.  You want to get the mouse into the display window even before the cards are completely displayed. There were a couple of times I noticed that my credit balance was not an even multiple of "5".  This must be why.On a real machine in a casino, the "Max Bet" button is right next to the "DEAL" button also.  This is NOT an accident!  At times I'll play single credit Quarter denomination and have to be careful of this strategic placement of the "Max Bet" button.   But, I've never seen a machine in a casino change a bet inadvertently from MAX to MINIMUM <LOL>
