Coushatta 50/100 Minimum Bet Change

Post by Lucky Larry »

A special thanks to the Coushatta casino Director of Slots, Warren Davidson, for listening to patrons. A few weeks ago Coushatta brought in new replacement 50/100 play machines which are our favorites. At that time a minimum bet was established. The minimum bet for 25¢ VP was 20 hands or $25/hand on the 100 play machines but only $12.50/hand on the 50 play. After corresponding my concerns over the difference between the 50 and 100 play minimum bets, I received word today that the minimum bet has been lowered on the 100 play machines to match the 50 play machines.

I wrote at that time that Coushatta set the minimum bet on the machines at 20% of the number of hands by for each denomination. This led to 50 and 100 play having two different minimum bets. The new machines added 50/100 Super Times Pay games as well as 50/10 play basic Draw Poker.

This is the second time that I have taken a concern to the Coushatta casino administration. Previously, we requested the old "knee knocker" coin trays be removed from the machines we were playing. The coin trays were bruising our knees/legs. They reviewed the request and removed them making play physically easier. I want to commend them for their wonderful willingness to listen to patron's concerns and their responses.

On this forum we often talk about casino staff not being responsive to players concerns or needs. Sweet C and I have found the Coushatta staff to almost always be receptive and helpful whether fixing broken buttons, responding to money/TITO jams, or cleaning up around the machines when dirty. This culture of assisting patrons and providing an enjoyable experience is another reason we play at Coushatta. Thanks Coushatta!

Met Mr. Davidson this weekend and thanked him personally for his response. He was very pleasant and thank us for our input.
