Last Thursday was another interesting day for me, I got there earlier then usual and decided to try my luck on the 100 hand QQ machine. I have seen on more then 1 occasion players getting over 1000 tier credits on $100 coin in, not me I think I got 60. yuk!. Switched over to my regular 10 hand QQ machine an fared no better. was down to the end of my bankroll and caught a Royal holding 2 cards. That gave me some breathing room but not for long. QQs were not coming and so was almost out . Went to dinner at M & S to recharge . Back to machine and nothing was happening was ready to call it a night when I remembered I had a small pile of bounce back cash I was saving, about $60. Decided to switch things up yet again, went back to 5 hand and decided to play DDB, which I have NEVER played on QQs. Long story short, 1 Royal holding 3 cards, 2 aces with kicker and 2 3s with kicker and a pile of QQs. Back from the dead with house money and a net of $400. Just have to figure out which game to play this week..

Great day. I had a back from the grave Sunday. I went from being down $50 at Caesars with my Bally's loot to leaving up $35 when the machine mysteriously began a hot cycle. From beyond depressed to blessed. A mere $250 coin in to boot.

It is a great feeling to play catchup that ends like that instead of just ending up with ketchup on your new shirt. WTG........

Olds, you may be replying to OP. But that's a $3 dry cleaning bill. Much more manageable than a poor casino day. I have been in the red at Caesars many times, and figured that this would just be one more with another miserable ride home ahead. Suddenly I was turning $20s into $40 white tickets. I took off for lunch at Tropicana, where my record was so poor that I am not even tempted to wager.

Jeter, nice comeback. Last week at Borgata, I was playing .50 Super Double Bonus. About a 3 hr. session. Was down $400 with literally 5 minutes left before I had to leave. Figured, oh well, another one of those days. Held a lone ace and pulled the other 3 to get back to even. Somehow felt better than getting up early and putting most but not all of your winnings back. Like the day I hit Aces, queens and Jacks in first 30 minutes then proceeded to put all but a $200 profit back. That felt worse even though it was a $200 win.

I don't know how you do it, but I am glad you do......Does thrusday, May 12 look good for you?    This time you might get to meet my brother (just for a few minutes, depending on how the poker goes next door at borgata.)      either way I look forward to seeing you again.....maybe this time I will try and bring an appetite and some time so we can actually share a meal together, although I usually just enjoy hearing your exploits and its difficult to do so when we are both stuffing our faces.I hope all is well otherwise with you.......is it???

Actually today my son who is serving is getting an operation for a non combat related injury. Just waiting to hear everything went ok, but besides that everything is ok, hope you're feeling better.🇺🇸😎🇺🇸thanks for the well wishes, and your son is in my prayers.   If I had my way I would dump boondoggle weapons systems like the horrific (and criminally scandalous)  F-35 joint strike fighter and spend the majority of that money buying all veterans and servicemen top quality healthcare and a really nice house or something......I'm serious, there would be BILLIONS and BILLIONS and BILLIONS still left over still to pay off the national debt even after everyone had a nice domicile.Don't believe me?   Just start researching the F-35 and its sordid stupid appalling ridiculous history.....it is the epitome of what president Dwight Eisenhower (a republican, and one of the best ever) warned as the "Military Industrial Complex" run amok.Sorry, didn't mean to distract from your son's health (or mine for that matter!)  But with both my father and brother as veterans, this issue is one of my pet peeves. And having spoken to you Jeter and gotten to know you a little,  I know firsthand how much you love and care about your boy (and the rest of your family)......I think everyone here should know that about you.

Thanks for the kind words notes and db, was able to talk to him last night everything went well but it's still hard when their so far away and you can't do anything. He mentioned that he might be getting leave this August which would be first time we have seen him in 20 months. When he gets home drinks on me in AC for all who want to join us!
