Harrahs AC
Yesterday someone won $40,000 on the Hundred Play machine in the smoking section, dealt Royal playing .10c. Also gentleman sitting next to me on Hundred Play machine was dealt a Royal, one of Phils disciples, only playing .3c. $1200 instead of $4000.

Last Thursday must have been a lucky day as I also won with a Royal at Harrahs AC. While playing .25c. single play and only $2.25 left in the machine, I was dealt 4 to a Royal and got it for $1,000. Since my resources to play with are very limited, I was more than pleased with the win.....And I came home $920 ahead! Not nearly as much as the $40,000 mentioned, but good enough for me.
Can't beat the fabulous pool and hot tubs by day and VP by night.

Congratulations. I am also a low roller who is thrilled with the annual Royal Flush, which gets me to break even at CET each year. The best feature about Harrah's is the carousel arrangement. Players can really ignore each other and focus on the gambling.

Just got back from unplanned three day junket to AC HARRAHS. No wife on this trip, so lots of time at the machines. Never left the property, played almost all single line, TDB, quarter for about 33 hours. Notable hits:
- one slot win $300
- one quad aces no kicker $200
- two quad deuces with kicker $500/e
- two quad aces with kicker $1000/e
- one RF $1000
Net result, lost almost $1k.
One can get a quad at harrahs by being dealt, drawing three or drawing two cards, but it is damn hard to get one after being dealt 3 of a kind, would like to hear from others who play there. Is this normal? And, I never save a kicker.
For those like myself who like sweets, they have a great place to satisfy your cravings. Forgot to get the name, but you can gain five pounds just going in the place.
I know I have complained about this before, but does the music have to be so loud?
All in all, a fair amount to pay for a plane ride, room, transport to casino, food, drinks if I wanted any and entertainment.
It is worth noting how much the popularity of junket trips has diminished, in my area. Years past, there were multiple trips each week to AC and Tunica, on 100 seat planes. Now, maybe 3-4 trips per month on 30 seaters. And, we have few gambling options.

Notes, I have played for well over 20 years at so many different casinos that I am certain that all vp is not the same, no doubt in my mind. I could take to a casino that will drive you nuts because of all the 9's you get playing vp, you can't get rid of the darn things. I could take you to a casino that for some reason you will hit and see more royals than any other casino I have ever seen. At another casino you will pull your hair out because of all the four to the flush off the deal, you will convert to a flush at a rate of about 1 every 8, no exceptions. At that same casino you can switch to the progressive vp machines and the four to the flush will go away, it's so crazy. At the small market casinos here you will get your share of small quads but will not hit the quality quads anywhere near the expected amount, no exceptions. I'm convinced that what I was told by a machine tech is true, he said that there are 13 different approved RNG programs, my guess is that they each have their own personalities or tendencies.

Notes: As you know I'm a weekly visitor to Harrahs, and as I play I observe a lot. The reason I switched my play from 5 hand to 10 hand was that I was bricking way to many dealt 3oak and Quick Quad opportunities [5523 etc.]. Since changing have been doing really well except for last week when everyone was getting dealt Royals I was getting dealt crap. But it happens, the week before had 15 4oak on TDB playing 5 coin instead of 6 coin for QQS. 1 aces with kicker, 1 4 aces, 3 deuces with kicker, and the rest regular 4oak. On one hand held just the deuce because it was the only black card and caught 3 more and the ace on the draw. You are not alone many many players brick the quad when being dealt 3oak. Glad you had a semi good trip.

Fun report. Two notable hits per day is great for quarter play. I agree on the excellent value using the losses yardstick for your trip. But it still must irk to compose the impressive laundry list of notable hits and still emerge from the gilded cage down a grand. I really do want another three hour session there now. I have become way too wedded to the boardwalk. If I can achieve RFs at half the casinos in town, it would be pretty cool. Three so far.

I must have brick the quad off three at HAC, as my session was rotten to the core. Got one yesterday at Tropicana. Of course I later blew it at Caesars.
