Believe it or not DB is still in AC and still doing quite well. He had a hand pay Sunday getting 2 Royals on a 5 play.25 machine. He is on a roll literally and figuratively. It is absolutely amazing the way he wheels himself all over AC, God Bless him. I went down yesterday to try my luck with the new multiplier day. CZR switched from Thursday to Mondays. Invited guests get to swipe their card and get from 2X to 100X. Drum roll, I got 100X, almost passed out. LOL. never got more then 7X this year and the last 8 week in a row received 3X. Had a great day on the QQ machines, dealt QQ on the 100 play machine and another dealt QQ on 10 play machine. Those hits enabled me to play all day and half the nite to amass 1016 tier credits which when multiplied by 100 will mean when my son comes home on leave he will be having a great visit.

Actually no Diamond is not required. I cannot give you a definitive answer as to what the criteria is required to get invited. The reps at TR do not know, CZR customer service does not know. The best answer I was given is the marketing reps in Vegas are the ones who determine who gets invited. I know many Diamond and 7* that are not invited.

I made it home yesterday (finally), and thanks to Jeter for helping make this "epic" 8 day AC excursion enjoyable.I will post about it separately in a while, but suffice it to say, with Summer here and the economy in General improving slightly, AC has a little of its old spark back......it is still a far cry from days gone by, and the economy of the city of AC itself is still in awful shape, but people from far off places are returning to some of the remaining 8 AC casino hotels.   During my 8 days there I saw crowds that previously in the last 3-4 years had all but vanished.Let us hope it remains this way for the next 4 months or so......

glad you had a good trip. eight days is a longgggg time off and just gambling.

don't know if anyone caught this news tid bit. the NJ supreme court has ruled in favor of the governor/state in allowing the state to back out of commitment to pay pensioners COLA increases. do not know all of the details.

this could be important because if it survives appeal, it could affect state workers around the country. those pensions/benefits that one thought were guaranteed, at any cost to the taxpayer, just might not be as reliable as they thought. NJ along with illonois, conn and other states located in the north are among the worst off financially, largely due to retiree costs.
