As many regulars to this site know QQs is my game of choice. Yesterday I had an epiphany. I have sometimes had the luck of being dealt a QQ, my question is how in the world can the FIRST card dealt say QQ, how does it know what the next 4 cards are going to be. If this is a dumb question let me know as VP knowledge is ever evolving for me.
Quick Quad Question

Five cards are selected and then flipped over, they are not selected after each flip of each card. So it knows you have a quick quad as soon as the flip begins, to present you with the possible winning total on the dealt hand (400 above). However it is not an automatic Quick Quad. You will notice that when you hold the cards, the "quick quads" graphic does not appear on the other lines until you press "draw." That is because it does not yet know your draw cards until you make your selection and you could potentially throw away one of the elements that makes it a Quick Quad. In that case, the "quick quad" would disappear when you make your draw (and only return if you managed to fill it with another). But you're right... if you're watching closely during the flip then you can celebrate early knowing that a Quick Quad is coming along if it appears on the first card.

I personally have never noticed this "phenomenon"........not that I WOULD ever have this happen to me anyway........!! I am lucky enough whenever I happen to catch ONE single Quick Quad (or SLOW Quad, medium paced QUAD............ANY FRIGGIN QUAD!!!!?!?!?!) L O L You are correct, video poker knowledge and understanding IS evolving, constantly and forever; therefore, there is no such thing as a dumb question Jeter; Either way, GREAT HIT, nice job!!!

This is a really Nice picture and image! I sincerely hope I catch a similarly "NICE" picture when I visit Harrahs-AC next on July 20 thru 27........I like to play 25 cent denom so hopefully this will translate into a $750 hit (give or take) for my bottom line.......If Jeter is with me I will buy him whatever he wants for Dinner or the Super Duper Beverage of his choice!

Um DaBurglar maybe MY math is wrong but wouldn't it be a $500.00 hit (addition) to your bottom line and not the $750.00 you calculated? I figured 2,000 quarters (.25 denom) equals $500.00, right? Or maybe look at it THIS way: 400 quarters won per hand equals $100.00 and $100.00 times 5 hands equals $500.00. Right?
Is the additional $250.00 you calculated some kind of bonus?
Please, can you explain? (give or take)

Please, can you explain? (give or take)yep 2000 credits at 25 cents is 500 bucks. I can honestly say when I posted this picture for whatever reason I saw 3000 instead of 2000......must have had something in my eye......or more likely I just did not look at the picture long enough or carefully enough to catch my error.OOPs........thankfully you were on the ball to catch it......who knows what would have happened if you had not! good job Ted.

Here another timing glitch that helps ruins the fun. Play "Big Times Draw Poker" in the casino. The paytable adjusts by the multiplier value before all five cards are dealt.
