It is a good video for beginners considering VP and I've watched it more than 20 times in the past. I follow the American Casino Guide closely there are good videos from Michael Shackleford and Henry Tamburin on the youtube channel.
But for the hardcore VP players, here is Mr. Dancer's rebuttal to that video:

i enjoy vp but have never really considered the small differences in the games. the article was eye opening.

I watched this video by Linda Boyd a few times now. I have also read Bob Dancer's rebuttal. Although both make excellent points, I thought Bob missed kind of the point Linda was making. At no place in the video did she ever say this is thee best game and the only game you should play forever amen. Just that it's an excellent game, and for these reasons like bankroll lasting longer, more intuitive game, etc...it's a game you should consider playing. At least, that's what I came away with.
Having said that, of course there are games with higher ER and such. But I think there is a bit of a spite and nitpicking between these two vp gurus, but reasonable people can disagree and also can both be right at the same time (glass half empty half full) sort of thing.
