You talk about snide comments and then go on to make not only snide, but snarky comments in the very next paragraph.  I came to this forum because I was lead to believe there were a number of regulars who would help me in finding good games in Vegas, give me an idea how different casinos treat their monthly mailers, and bonus days and such. Hopefully, in a year or so, when newcomers arrive, they will find the kind of site I hoped to find. Mr Dancer said he would return sometime in August. I, for one, hope he does.

The fact that many members have left this section of the forum is due to the constant sniping between members.  I have attempted to end this problem many times, but someone always pulls us back in with some snide comment. I would like to propose a solution to this problem.

It is unfortunate to hear the members are no longer participating on the forum due to the conflicts and just sticking to the contests and games on this site.

I am guilty for my share of comments, but the intent was constructive but some people will not ever trust the mathematical aspects (I know not just VP, but many other games in the casino floor).

No matter how you look at it, casino gambling is an expensive hobby compared to most others. Every fraction of an edge you give to the casino is that much costly. I cannot afford to make big mistakes, but I am sure plenty of others can without hurting their financial being, so I've backed off for the most part.

I do not know if there will be more quality members coming in from Mr. Dancer's classes. Probably he references this site to practice quick quads and the single line games, however no strategy given for Ultimate X (which I think is the cash cow of video poker). If Mr. Dancer is not participating here, there will be a bigger gap between the consumers and the producers.

About how you can succeed in Vegas. I think you have to start building a network or to gain enough trust join one. I am not sure if you are comfortable talking to or building rapport with strangers.

The better quality promotions are only for those that have a good status with the casino and not available to the public. You have to talk to them at where they play and at the same time you have to have something worthy to trade for these secrets.

If you ever reach in Mr. Dancer's inner circle, which I imagine is very hard and for the elitest of players, you've hit the jackpot.
