I had that happen as well, i.e., dealt a wild royal and it autoheld. It didn't really bother me, as holding the wild royal is the better play.

We'll check it out. So far haven't been able to duplicate it here. Like I said, please send a pic if you experience this again.

If I got caught in an auto-hold like described I would be a bit miffed because I would go for the natural royal.

But everybody's different and that's what makes the world such an interesting place.

mammajamma, I can't get that to happen here. Can you send a picture if it happens again?

Well, ok, but just so you know I didn't hold all 5 cards.

I held none because it didn't even give me a chance to hold 'em, fold 'em or even get to know 'em.

I, like Ted, would've liked to try for a 4000 point royal, especially playing 10 hands.

Great game... once you get 3 magic cards in a deal the anticipation waiting for it to happen again holds your attention... only happened that one time but enough fun to make this game a favorite

Great game... once you get 3 magic cards in a deal the anticipation waiting for it to happen again holds your attention... only happened that one time but enough fun to make this game a favorite Last night, I reaped the consequences of playing this new game too fast and a little inattentively. Even though it was the end of the day and i was a bit tired, I decided to play until I was dealt three magic cards.

In due course, along came the three magic cards. The two other cards were deuces, and since I was playing deuces wild bonus, I had a guaranteed 20000 credit win. With great excitement and expectation I hit the deal/draw key, only to realize as the cards started coming in that I had neglected to hold the deuces! It wasn't an absolute disaster, as I did hit one royal and a set of deuces, along with a few other decent hands, but my 5500-6000 credit win was a far cry from 20000.

Video poker seems pretty routine at times, but you do have to stay sharp - and I certainly didn't. At least, it wasn't in a casino for real money.

OMT I feel your pain. Earlier tonight while playing 10 hand Deuces Wild Bonus I was dealt 2AMMM. I held the guaranteed 20k win but I was wondering what would have happened if I just held the AMMM. But you know what they say: 20,000 birds in the hand.....

But you know what they say: 20,000 birds in the hand.....If you had held AMMM, you might have had a result such as the one I posted about in the other Magic Card thread (the strategy one), i.e., one five aces, one straight flush and eight four of a kinds for a magnificent 625 credits.

Playing deuces wild bonus in the 7 star tournament, I have just, once again, been dealt a wild royal with two magic cards, and it auto held.

I was dealt two of spades, king of clubs, jack of clubs, and two magic cards, which then filled in to complete the wild royal, and auto held. There is no doubt that I would have discarded the deuce in this case, as I had a 3 in 49 shot at a royal paying 32 times as much as the wild royal.

I cannot provide a screen shot, since I am one of the few people on earth without a cellphone camera.

I can describe exactly where it happened though. It was deal number 25 of my sixth session today.
