So Phil thinks Bob created me as a second identity before he left, then left the forum but stayed on using me as shill just to abuse him. Just how paranoid is he?
Perhaps G.A. may not be the help he desperately needs.

Hi Phil, I would like to vote for you to stay. I really enjoy everyones' posts especially those reality checks on my own denominational switching beliefs. I also find Alpax's holding/discarding strategy sheets which he posts invaluable. Great forum here.
I do not know how people react around you in real life if you just assume
everything. I am certain the forum members have reacted in a way I think
will happen.Actually, I don't have any problems with people other than on this forum.   For some reason which I fail to understand this forum is occupied by a few people who take video poker way too seriously.  To me video poker is a game like golf or bowling.  The idea that someone would treat any adverse statements about it as blasphemy is laughable. Furthermore, the idea that any intelligent person would dump hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars into a slot machine thinking they can beat it is even more ridiculous.   If I don't post, this forum sits there and does nothing.  At least you have to admit I keep it lively.   Lets have a vote.  If the majority of the posting members feel I should leave the forum, I will.  I enjoy the forum, but I could easily find something else to occupy my time and energy.   If Bob Dancer can do it, I can too.

Just how paranoid is he?
No one's leaving, we're having too much fun!   Actually Bill, I don't think you are Bob Dancer or a shill for the casinos.  I suspect you are a VP newbie who just got out of Bob Dancer's class full of enthusiasm for the game and you most likely have been lucky so far.  I encourage you to keep that attitude because it will help you when the bad times come a callin' and they will.  I enjoy sparing with you.  I don't believe you are a bad guy at heart, just naive and inexperienced.    If you are a real person, your energy is contagious.  After a while, the casinos will beat you down and you will become a cynic like me.  I encourage players to read all of Dancer's books and if possible attend his classes.  I personally doubt you will win long term, but the knowledge you gain will definitely improve your results.

That's right, but it wasn't always like that.

For quite a long time (about 11 years) there was a pretty good play available at Casino Rama, which is around 80-90 miles north of Toronto.

They had 3/5/10 play machines at 25c, 50c and $1 denominations that offered 9/6 JOB. Cashback was 0.4%, and bonus cash (equivalent to bounceback cash) was 0.3%, creating a game that was 100.24%, plus comps.

Alas, they eventually caught on to the fact that it was a pretty good game. First, they halved the cashback, reducing overall game return to 100.04%, plus comps, and later they knocked the bonus cash down to 0.1%. And, a little under three years ago, they completely removed the machines. Our regular visits there ended at that point. We still go there periodically (once every two or three months), where we can play 98.91% deuces wild.

Back on the proper meds now? No delusions or paranoia?
