Interesting day in a locals spot.

CET won't give Makers unless you are Diamond, or so I have been told by
servers. I got it at a bar in Laughlin, but the Barkeep is a personal
friend. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------That is a crying shame. I keep a Diamond in my possession at all times for this very reason. Social Darwinism reigns in casinos.

a huge majority of the people there are just putting $5 in a machine and
sitting there getting free drinks and waiting for the drawing.   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I believe it. Plenty of freeloaders during these promos where you just have to sit around with your trusty card in the slot sipping on free booze and waiting for lightning to hit. If it doesn't, you enjoy a comp bev may lose a buck or two.

FAA I thought you've said in the past that you were not CET Diamond? I hope you were kidding and not in fact alluding that you are fraudulently using someone else's Diamond card that you found in a casino?

Heaven forbid someone use a casino premium card to get a drink.
Perish the thought.

Yeah, perish the thought: it's called theft by deception (fraud) and if caught, the person would at a minimum be banned from the property. Would it be worth getting banned from a CET property because you are too cheap to buy a top shelf drink? Most likely if a person is 86'd from one Atlantic City CET property word would spread to the other Atlantic City CET properties as well.

I personally would not like to find out that someone may be using MY CET Diamond or MY Marquee Rewards Executive Producer card that I may have accidently forgotten in a machine.

Without going into details, I can tell you CET does not ban a person found using another person's card. Perhaps if that person tried to use it to get a free dinner or something, but not for skipping a line and getting a better table at a buffet, for certain.

If it isn't your card or your wife's card, its still wrong. This is exactly the reason why more and more buffets are asking people for a photo id.

If a person found a handicapped parking placcard would this automatically give them the right to start using it? Same principle.

People who use a high level casino club card to go on the shorter line are normally expected to use the comp points they've earned to pay for their meal. The player put in a high volume of gaming action to get that that status anyhow.

Provide the details.

CET will go out of their way to crack down people who use other people's freeplay without giving them any additional action. People who've done that subsequently were banned without given a warning not to do it again.

CET is very capable of banning any one from their 20+ properties nation wide. It is on rule #5 on their regulations to prohibit others from using the card whose name does not appear. Rule #29 and #30 gives them the right to ban anybody for any reason.
