Interesting day in a locals spot.

Thanks for posting this before I did alpax. Instead of rule #5 I'm guessing you meant rule #4?

I once presented a Diamond card at a BJ table. I'd found it at a slot machine and didn't want to play rated, but didn't want to not play rated, if you can understand that.
The players host somehow was notified the cardholder was at the table. He showed up to say hello and obviously he wasn't there. I said there must be a mistake, I'd left my card in a machine and when I went back this one was sitting there. Told him I was Diamond, didn't have id on me and didn't know my number. End of story. I left soon after as I'd attracted more attention than I desired.
Many other times, we've used Platinum or Diamonds to take advantage of the shorter lines. We just explain our guest is paying for lunch, not us. Never been an issue.
With MGM requiring Premium level cards for parking, those things are being passed around like chiclets.

Wow, could these be some of the "special plays" that some of the "experts" say will add to a player's bottom line?

It must be tough trying to come up with these little "lies on the fly" unless they're of course; well rehearsed.

Have you read Max Rubens "Comp City"?
While much of what he wrote is no longer useable, it helps you to think outside the box and create your own plays.
I haven't found many boy scouts in my limited exploration of the AP world. Nor do I expect to.

I think both rule #4 and #5 apply as to only the person whose name is on the card is allowed to utilize the card.

I do not think that circumstance is a special play or any sort. A blackjack A.P. has to play without a players card and also reject an offer to make one from the pit boss as well. There may not be any advantage to helping a stranger putting action to the club card. Heard a story from the previous owner of the VegasCasinoTalk forum where a pit boss rated the wrong player with a player who bets much smaller than the intended player. The intended player got radically reduced mailers until he had to investigate with the casino host.

As for CET caring about Total Rewards card usage, I suppose it is stricter regarding towards the gaming aspect. I heard about many stories with regards to people consuming complimentary without any play in return ringing alert to the players club.

As for the free parking and drinks, it is true that normal casino players are not impacted. It just requires Pearl tier and players have a non-rolling 12 month period get it done.

Easiest way is to apply and get approved for the respective MGM or CET credit card.

$25,000 worth of Video Poker (at least $1 denomination)
$7,500 worth of Slots (at least $1 denomination)
$1,000 worth of food, hotel, shows, and gift shop items.

Or a prorated amount of any of the three combined to get it done.

People who do quarter VP or penny slots to earn the points will lose more on average to earn the status.

To me it's simple: do things above board and everything goes easier.

Yes, just like the casinos do. You are welcome to play your way, I will play mine. Some folks bring knives to a gunfight, others bring a hand grenade to a fist fight.
