Latest Royalless streak broken

Post by olds442jetaway »

I had an overnight trip Sunday night at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. I took advantage of the free play at both and ended up staying over at Mohegan. I lost pretty much all of the evening at both casinos playing a dollar machine. Busted my 500 bankroll, hit the ATM for another 500 which I really shouldn't have done, but I stuck to a 98.8 game on spin poker Bonus Deuces Wild playing 3 lines and once in awhile a pot shot at 2 per line for a 6 dollar bet. All but about 150 bucks of the ATM money was gone too when decided to bet 2 per line for a 6 dollar bet and if I lost about 7 or 8 deals, at least go home with a hundred bucks in my pocket.I was dealt 4 to a Royal in clubs. Knowing that over my years of playing and millions of hands I remember that I have connected Royals in clubs far more than any other suit. I thought at least I had a chance and had quit counting the hundreds of thousands of hands since my last Royal. Anyway, I completed the Royal on the top line and a Wild Royal on the bottom line for a nice 1,652 hand pay. I gave back a hundred and quit. Before I get jumped on for not betting 5 per line, this is one of the rare machines that pays the correct amount for the Royal for just bet 1. These are rare to find and I wish more of you out there had access to these machines. Mohegan Sun has some of them in all denominations, but you pay a penalty on the paytable for the quarter and nickel games which return 97 and 96 percent accordingly. Still it is nice to have that option especially on low budget days. One interesting note is they are only available on the spin poker option, but there is nothing saying one can't just play the center line. I find that difficult to do since I hate to see the premium hands come in on the top and bottom lines that I may not have been playing. Good luck all. PS I sent Fla Phil a pic, but didn't ask him to post it. I actually was so thrilled to hit the hard to come by Royal, I sent Phil the pic before I even got paid. Funny, the entire session I never hit quad deuces, yet connected with a Royal.

I don't know exactly, but I do know that at least half of my lifetime royals have been in clubs. Same for the Mrs. Not only that, anytime I have thrown away a flush and connected with a royal, it has been in clubs. Probably about 6 or so lifetime that way. Really makes you wonder about those rngs sometimes. Thanks for the well wishes.

Nice hit olds! And a whopping 4 of 8 royals for me have been clubs. Still waiting on spades...

Both of my dealt royals in 2001 on DDS were in spades for 5k each. Those were on the same machine 2 months apart then Foxwoods pulled the machine. The dealt one I had last July if I remember on DDS at Mohegan for 18k was in diamonds.

Nice, a royal is a Royal. Incidentally, my two royals in December were both in clubs.
Cheers!
