In AC, the Golden Nugget is a nice place especially from May to October, when the Marina is active. I used to love to wheel around the property in the early morning, feed the birds and admire the yachts. And it's a nice stroll over to Harrah's when the weather is nice, although the city is dodgy on keeping the portion of the walkway surrounded by vegetation from becoming unsafe or unpleasant....Still it's nice.

GN casino is simple and clean, nothing special but they do retain a few really good video poker games in the 99% range. The food is good....Not great but worth what you pay.

Happy Hour at Chart House is a great value. Nice views, good food, reasonable prices. But I don't play VP there.

Sounds like I should give it a try this Summer. I like the "admire the yachts" idea. Actually my stepson loves yachts and expensive cars. We usuaally visit Rhode Island once per year because he enjoys all the nice cars and yachts in Newport. We walk around and he takes pics of them all and keeps track of what ones he has and hasn't seen. He has big dreams and I hope some day they come true for him. I think he and his Mom would enjoy the morning stroll's you speak of. I of course would enjoy the good VP games and the good food and views Carcounter mentioned.
Thanks for the reply's guy's.
