them.[/quote]Tell me about it.  Most people don't realize the higher your AGI, the more the government takes out of your SS check.   It's called redistribution of wealth.

You make a decision on the cards dealt on the center line, hold what you want and those cards are then held on all lines. When you hit draw, the rng deals to each line separately. For example, You are dealt 3 to a Royal in clubs on the center line. You are playing 3 lines total. You hold your 3 clubs. Those are also held auto on the other 2 lines. When you hit draw, the rng gives you cards separately on all 3 lines. It should be made clear that the cards drawn to fill the vacant spots (there would be a total of six in the example) all come from the same deck - not three separate ones.

They're just standard IGT "Game King" slant tops Bill. Just go to the "help" menu and select "pays". Then select a 5-coin bet (it will be highlighted in red on this menu screen) to see if the NRF pays 4000 coins (and look to see if there is a 6 coin column to the right of it that pays 4800 coins). Most often, 1c, 2c, and 5c denominations will allow play up to 100 coins. It is up to the slot manager how he or she wants to set these - in the same casino I have seen some of them set for an NRF bonus at 5-coins and some not. Just check the help menu on them until you find one that does and then bet at least 5 coins.As an aside I have even seen VP variants on the very same machine that have different max coins settings (5 coins on one game and 100 on another on the very same machine).What are these machines called? I'd like to find some.
So, if betting quarters, instead of being capped at $1.25 you can play for $1.75 and get the proper payout on all winners, including a RF? I mostly play a penny machine for 100 credits, because it has better games than the 25 cent machines. (NSUD vs BP) I find myself playing 100 credits at 2 cents but wont mind playing JOB for $1.75-$2 a hand.

Are the double up features 50-50 or is there a house edge. I did really well a few times in AC on slots doing that but have not noticed them in Vegas, although I don't play the exotic games. No clue how to play Spin Poker, and the many variants of Double Bonus Plus Plus or whatever.
Haven't spent ten minutes on the Double Bonus machine I bought. Its just a decoration for now.

Good point Onemore. Just roughed out my taxes today. The darn W-2Gs are going to more than double my State of Ct income tax even though for the year I had a very substantial loss playing vp. Welcome to Ct. It was also on the news today that Ct was the only New England State to not have job growth and recover from the last recession. Very business unfriendly state and very very unfriendly to retirees. Still love the state except for the winters which seem to be harder and harder to deal with as one ages. However, have the salt water sound down the end of the street, a farm at the other end, and almost every store and fantastic restaurants imaginable just a stone's throw away. Of course a casino with 99 percent vp games just an hour away too. Now if we could just change Governors and get a better handle on the freebies things might be a bit better. Anyway, I've got Phil's number and he's got the listings for when the wife retires in a year or so just in case we get tired of being icebergs 5 months out of the year.

Olds-442... Four Barral Carb, Four Speed, Duel Exhaust...
In 1970 a friend on mine had a 1969 442, and I had a 1969 440 Roadrunner.
We both were attending Del Mar Tech, We was taking welding and I was taking Auto Machicanics.
We shared an apartment that was around 8 miles from the collage.
Class's would end at the same time. If traffic was light we would race to see who would get to the harbor bridge first.
Sometimes I'd win by a few car lengths and sometimes he would win. The cars were pretty darn even.
One day I told him lets see who is faster doing it the right way. So we meet on Sunday at the old quarter mile
drag strip and made three passes.
The stock gears on both cars were 3.55 if I don't miss my guess. I know mine were.
I had a set of 4:10 gears so on Friday I stuck them in. We made three passes and I blew him away by around
8 car lengths every time. He said damn I just knew I was going to beat you at least one out of three.
He passed away a few years back and he never knew I had switched gears just to kick his butt... LOL...
Side note: Back in 1971 I was 19, I made a run from Laredo to San Diego, Tx on Christmas morning. Freer is the only town in-between. It is a 87 mile run. I made in 23 minutes. Talk about being young and stupid... That old car was fast... I never knew how fast because the speedometer would only go up to 120 and it went past it in third gear...

Yep. 355 gears. Mine was a 65. For 65, the 442 since it was the first year for the 400 cu in engine meant 400 cubes, 4 barrel, and duel exhaust. The top end on that car was incredible. I had 2 cars that could beat it in the quarter mile. 66 hemi 426 plymouth satelite. and 68 charger 383 but the 383 was built. I also had a 65 GTO and that tied the olds. If I had the 66 hemi today and sold it, I could play vp the rest of my life and never touch my own money. Hee Hee. By the way, Phil had a car that may have blown both of us away. A ford side oiler 427. He may chime in with the detail. I think my 66 hemi would have come close to his though in the quarter.    Gunsmoke reruns still on every day. Thanks.

Good Story...Olds 442...
My next door neighbor at the time had a 69 428 Cobra Torino bright red.
That car was bad for a stock car. There was no one in our small town that could get close to it.
One day he called me over because it had a miss.
He had just had at the dealer for a tune up a week before. I checked it and #4 was not firing. I said lets let it cool down and well pull it. That sucker was almost impossible to get out. Ounce we got it out and and took a look, it was completely fouled out and guess what it was the original plug. The guys at the dealer ship had never changed it because of the time it took to get it out.
Since dealer techs are commission techs replacing that one plug would have put them behind the eight ball on what the job paid. So they flat rated it and installed 7 plugs only... Imagen That...LOL...

I know this isn't the muscle car forum, but it's more fun to talk about cars any day.  Back in 1969 my buddy bought a new Cobra Torino when they first came out.  His was a Gold colored formal roof with no options other than a radio.  It had the "R" code engine and was so fast I had to have one.   My wife and I went to the Ford dealership and bought a Black Jade (dark green) fastback Cobra Torino with air conditioning.  As I remember the sticker price was $4,600.   We used to run them both at the drag strip in the pure stock class.  My car was much heavier with all the options.  His was a drag strip terror.  Both cars were automatics and would burn the tires in second gear.   I was always a Ford racer.   I still work on old Fords.  This morning I was working on a friend's '64 Galaxie convertible.  He has a car collection and lets me work on them.  I don't want to own any old cars these days, but I still love working on them.  Together we still buy a car to flip once in a while. My '66 fairlane was always a race car.  It sat behind a friend's house and only had a few thousand 1/4 miles on it.   The car was tubed with 11" slicks tucked under the fenders.  I bought it from him and installed a built 427 side oiler with a 428 crank which made about 450 cu. in.  It had 427 medium riser heads and dual quads.  The valve train was all Crane with hooker headers, big input 4 speed and a 513 9" locker.  I was street racing back then and drove the car on the street.  Nothing could touch that fairlane.  I once raced the fastest LS6 Chevelle in Miami for $500.   I was waiting for him at the end of the race.It's sad how you can't work on the new cars.  I have a new Challenger RT, but wouldn't for a minute try to even change the plugs and don't know if it even has any.   Cars were all I cared about when I was younger and my mechanical ability actually got me into the office machines industry in 1966 which evolved into a career in computers.  Except for a pile of tickets for speeding and "illegal starts", cars kept me out of trouble.   Those days are gone now.  Whenever I sit in an old Mustang or Galaxie, I'm transported back in time.  Feels great...

Im going to try and relate this to vp but may not succeed. Spaeking of the 428, in 1970 after just getting out of UCONN and having no job, I got the best job I ever had at the local junk yard for about 8 months. Sorry I ever left there for my career job. Anyway, my friend that also worked there and was a torch man talked the owner of the yard to giving him the motor from a wrecked ford with the 428. There was also a perfect little pea green 2 door 1960 ford falcon in the yard with a blown motor. My friend the torch man stuffed the 428 into the falcon, put in a cut down lincoln radiator to handle the cooling, and patched in a ford 9 inch rear as well. Then of course beefed up everything else. Nothing in the town could ever beat him in the quarter including me. At the time I had a 65 Ford gal 500 XL conv. ith the police 390 in it, but it was a heavy car. Beautiful though and fast top end. Now on to vp. I'm headed up tonight to Mohegan. have family in from California and hope to break the current batting slump I am in. I hope I see nothing but deuces and Aces on the machines.
