Sometimes Jacks or Better doesn't get the memo it's supposed to be a low variant game. So I suppose it doesn't matter what game or pay table, if it's not hitting, downward goes the credits down the rabbit hole bye bye.

Its been a hell of a month so far this April. Man beating up on machine and that man is me! Here is a limited update for April. Look for a full April update next week.Hit Royal #6 on the 3rd and then tried to hold on to the $800 for awhile. Did not work out well slowly gave it back the next few weeks.Took my wife to the airport Thursday (20th) for a trip to Arizona then headed to the casino for an over night stay and some drinking time with a buddy. We hit the steak house for dinner, at that time I was down a few 100.  After a nice prime rib dinner it was off for more play.A few weeks back they reprogrammed a bank of machines with all games at 99% plus games. I been playing a lot of 9/6 Bdlx, 9/6 Jacks and  8/5 BP. Well it was not long and #7 for the year hit for $800 on Bdlx. Went to bed a 1:30am feeling good. Got up at 7am and about 2 hours later into play BP gave me #8 for the year. A good 15 hours of play over the 2 days. Still got some play to get in my 80k point total for the month.Been playing a ton of hands a month 60 to 70k plus working full time its wearing on me. Want to move up to .50 ($2.50) bet to play half the time but then the tax man wants his share so right now its $1.00/$1.25 bets till July 1st to make Diamond tier. Good luck chasing the Royal!

Congrats. I too have had a good run lately. A $ 2,000 royal on 4-7 and a $4,000 royal on 4-20. However yesterday a disaster, lost $ 800 playing $ 1.00 SDB at Borgata. That's ok now up $ 3,800 for the year. Think I will slow it down for a while and get out to golf as the weather permits.

9/6 BDLX is a great game.

Around here, it is only available at $5 though and every quad locks up for the tax man's cut.

I'd wish that happened to more casinos across the nation.

I think moving up to 50 cents will help you achieve status twice as quick if you think you need the time for other things. At 3% state tax, a Royal Flush is the only outcome that will cost you $60, but that will take 60 hours of playing to average one.

Congrats on a good run!

Last trip to Borgata, 4-5 hours on .50 Super Double Bonus. 2
quads all session. Lost $900. Getting up the courage to go down again.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Car, remember the bad old days? Yesterday was almost as bad as last month's doozy. Good thing you won big in between.

Thanks AlI agree moving up would help but the problem is last year I had to claim $5750 and got to write off $745 since you get $12,600 anyway we just don't have enough to deduct on itemize form. So if I make the move up its going to be $1 level since the 4k royals will add up can write off most of it. Working on a 20k bank roll for 2018.Also moving up means bigger day trip losses, for me not sure how I might handle them. I handle $500-$700 losses fine but going from $1.25 to $5.00 bets and going home down 2k might be to much for me to handle. Would love to hear from $1 players and how long it took them to handle big down days.

I play 9/6 job for dollars and 9/5 sdb for .50 and sometimes dollars. Worst day at job lost $1,000 over 4 hrs. Lost $ 800 in 1&1/2 hrs on 1.00 sdb Friday. Played dollars because I had hit a 4K royal on job the day before. I can handle a $ 500 loss pretty easy, a 800-1,000 loss bothers me. Once lost $2,500 one day at dollar triple play double joker at Ballys AC. Was a full pay 99.97% game, and had a 3x cash back day. Would go back tomorrow if they put it back.

I can relate to losing $100 per hour, which is bad enough. By the time I ever get a dollar RF I will have severe buyer's remorse at my pace. Time to jump off the train. I'll just cover the Quarter Circuit.
