Common? LOL no.
I do prefer the casinos that do put their best games at the bar though.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Agreed. Borgata is exceptional in granting the captive bar audience high odds. Shrewd strategy. They rake in massive revenue and have decided to loosen up.

You can't even respond without falsely editing my posts. You take two sentences from entirely different threads and try and make it seem like something very different.
A perfect example of how low you will go to try and denigrate those who disagree with you.
Perhaps, just perhaps, if you don't want to be called a liar, then you should stop telling outright lies.
I don't claim to win all the time, nor have I ever promoted the fact that casinos will pay you to play enough to be profitable just for showing up. Just lies that you made up and chose to repeat.
What I do is show the foolishness in statements such as, and I paraphrase- I was happy playing halves for months but a bad week showed me I was wrong.
Everyone has bad weeks. Some people have bad months.
Video poker is a wild roller coaster ride, and just like every rollercoaster, the only ones who get badly hurt are the ones foolish enough to get off mid ride.

For some reason the Biloxi casinos seem to do this more often than most.  We always thought it was because drunk players lose more money.  The last time I was at the Beau Rivage the JB odds on the main floor were 7/5.  The bar odds were 8/5 plus a royal progressive.  Neither of these games are anything to write home about, but gaining a little more than 1% just to move your seat seems like a good move to me.   The better move would be to move out the door, which is exactly what we did.

More importantly, let me off a cold machine. Don't fight a cold machine. Abandon it!

Mohegan Sun has 9/6 job quarters at the bars. Unfortunately, they are in the worst condition with sticky buttons, ashes, spilled yucky crap on them etc. Luckily, they also have them on the floor. What they do though is mix up good and bad paytables throughout. I guess most casinos do this. You have to be careful.

It's fairly obvious Florida Phil Fa La La La La.... La la la la just doesn't understand applied math, otherwise he won't make the illogical statements he does.
Rather than admit his shortcoming, he continues to lash out at those who point out his mistaken beliefs.
The Fa La La La La.... La la la la may change, but the song remains the same.

What good is 9/6 jacks if every other button sticks and you have to fight your way through?  You are definitely right about the value of scouting all the machines.  I never would have found those new machines way in the back if I had not taken the time to walk all over the casino.  The last time we visited you at the Mohegan Sun, I remember how hard the good games were to find.  Luckily I had a friend in the business.
