If I am dealt three Magic cards and hold an ace, why don't all the hands give me 4 aces on the draw? The game description says it will give the best possible hand on ALL hands. I hope someone can help me understand this...I can't see it!

Best possible hand would be a Royal, not 4 Aces.

Yeah, if you pull a K through 10 of the same suit as the Ace, you'll get a royal.
Did you somehow receive a hand WORSE than 4 Aces?

It's possible that you had drawn your own Ace, in which case you would get, Ace, Ace and the kicker.
Each hand is different, based on what you draw for your second card...That card determines what Magic cards you'll get to make the best hand.
In this particular case...There's three outcomes.
4 Aces, 4 Aces with a kicker or a Royal Flush.
Unless you were playing Deuces Wild or Jack or Better.

Thanks for the answers..I didn't consider the royal because it pays the same. I'll have to do a screen shot next time to show what I'm saying. I did not get 4 aces each hand; therefore my question.

Looking at your Great Hits, I only see this one for Magic Deal on the 15th:
Is this the hand in question? Is it possible you accidentally discarded an ace?

If you look at the instructions for the game, you'll see that the Magic cards don't come at specific intervals. It's that lovely "random" word.

For example, if it happened to be DDB, odds are 22.5 to 1 against having only 1 or fewer Magic Deals. So, if the RNG was working evenly, there were 22.5 contest sessions with 2 or more Magic Deals for every session that was like yours or worse.
