Double Combo Draw Poker - Split Card Part 2?

Post by alpax »

I saw this on Wizard of Odds. The Wizard spotted this game at The Orleans, it is very new to me. The game being promoted this month is Ultimate X and not a new game (really thought it would be Flip and Pay Poker).

Double Combo Draw Poker now allows the players to get TWO split cards instead of ONE. This brings the game to whole new level.

This creates 21 different combinations of 5 card hands. I did partial study to know that the Split Card is not often discarded, two split cards can produce some powerful combinations.

I hope someone can go to the Orleans and find out more about this game

IGT's website on the game:

It was at Harrah's too in April, but I think it was quarters, so I definitely didn't touch it.

I saw that the wagers can reach 250 credits a round based on the screenshots. The denomination I saw was 1 cent which may be doable.

At quarters and with all the potential cost for a suboptimal hold, yikes! I do not blame you for staying far away from it. I was scared off from playing Split Card mode due to its complex strategies.
