I agree playing single coin isn't for everyone.  What got me into it was the terrible odds I was forced to play and the length of time we needed to play them.   For years the Beau Rivage in Biloxi would fly you to Mississippi and put you up in their hotel all expenses paid.   My wife and I loved these trips and frankly we were flattered that they would offer them to us.   On  a three day trip we would play VP in their casino solid from early morning until evening.   The VP odds in this casino are the worst I have ever seen even in the high limit room.  There is just no way to keep from taking a beating on these trips.  To protect our wallets we went to single coin play to limit our losses.  This bored us so we came up with CS to add a little excitement.  CS limited our losses and increased our playing time so much that I switched to it full time.Much later, we ditched Mississippi altogether and moved our play to the Hollywood Hard Rock where the odds are decent.  We always play max coins now and have been happy with our results.
