VP for the Disadvantaged.
That would include me and anyone else who will admit it.   What we need is VP strategy we can use instead of stories from the year 2000!  The players in the high limit room are pretty lonely these days.

Yeah. I notice maybe six high limit room VP players on a weekend afternoon. Many dormant machines. And they would reap better odds merely by walking twenty five yards.

If anyone wants to read books like Phil is looking for, and evidently doesn't know exist, pick up any of Jean Scotts books. Just don't be disappointed when she doesn't recommend playing single coins.

I will have to STRONGLY agree that books by Mrs. $¢ott is better suited for FP. In fact, FP is looking for a recent book and Mrs. $¢ott recently published one this year based on recent conditions.

Title: The Frugal Gambler Casino Guide (2017)

ISBN-10: 1944877134
ISBN-13: 978-1944877132

Synopsis: The Frugal Gambler Casino Guide both updates and backdates The Frugal Gambler and More Frugal Gambling by covering, in comprehensive detail, the state-of-the-art techniques of casino gambling for low-rollers and the concepts on which frugal gambling is built: how to lose less and play longer.

I would not mind what kind of rants that will come out of it.

Sounds perfect to me!

Good place to have a drink in peace. Clubby cage and facilities. They're really paying for the atmosphere, upon reflection.

High limit rooms were never about offering better games. They exist to stroke people's egos, and to offer better service to people playing machines that require more frequent
W-2s.
Walk into my local HLR and you are immediately greeted and offered a drink.
While they offer dozens of 9-6 games in steerage, in this room they mix 9-6 with 8-6 and 9-5.

Every high limit room is different. Some offer better games on the floor and some do not. I end up playing in the high limit room only for a few hours in most places because it happens to have better choices, but have never received service that was worth mentioning.

The player has to have a mindset to adapt to many different things. Judging what a high limit room is like based on a single experience can lead to players missing out on good playing opportunities in front of them.

My HLR doesn't even make a 9/6 gesture. Soak the rich, CET style. The Masters.
