CET Car Show

Post by FAA »

Plenty of horsepower on display this week. CET AC raffled off three cars today in their dramatic "All American Car
Giveaway" drawing. Five finalists from each casino were chosen. The fab five
then chose envelopes in order of arrival. One won the car
and the four also rans $500 FP. At Bally's, a nonagenarian named
Florence won a Dodge Challenger. I heard that it will be a gift for a
nephew. Last to arrive, she got the default envelope. Kim from
Staten Island won a Lincoln MKZ at Caesars, as did Damon at Harrah's. I
was at Caesars for the 4 PM drawing. A man from Bowie, Maryland was a no
show. I was not named a replacement. The thick crowd then dwindled. An Italian man named Rocco showed up claiming that he heard his named called. I was up by the nylon rope barrier and informed him that it was a woman from Queens with a similar surname, pointing to a plasma screen across the lobby. He patted my back and said, "Thanks, buddy. That was embarrassing."

I think it is very racist to presume just because someone is named Rocco he is Italian 😡

Heat get to you? He mentioned his surname, which I also read on his card. You're so far off base you're out of the stadium.

Sad that you don't get sarcasm even when it hits you in the face like a big pizza pie🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

We have all been misinterpreted online. It goes with the territory. So
many combative people spewing bile here that I now take everything literally. Your witless reply, now that's sad. Have a nice day.

Well, I'm a little bit Italian and have been around a long time. I've known dozens of Roccos and they have all been Italian or Sicilian. That said, I have an Irish neighbor who has a cool German Shepard named Rocco.
