Do you have unlimited money?  If you are going to play negative VP games forever, you will need a bankruptcy lawyer before you need a banker.   Wise players only play until their money is gone, then they go home.  When I play single coin, mine lasts longer.

This sounds like a challenge to me. If you two would like to put your money where your mouth is. I am sure Webman would agree to set up such a challenge here. Max bet vs. single coin. All you have to do is agree on what game.

Sad. It would be more productive talking to my wall.
You don't know math, don't know how to tell the truth, but I will admit you seem to be an expert on how to lose.
Just the sort of person whose advice I'd follow.
If I were a moron.
I'm Phil Fa La La La La.... La la la la, follow me and I promise you will lose.
No wonder your website went bellyup.

Billy, lets gets serious for a moment.    Math formulas and jabs at each other are fun, but they don't get to the heart of this issue.Playing single coin is not about mathematics.  A lot of players have a Love/Hate relationship with video poker.  They love the excitement and thrills of the game and hate the feeling of dread they have when they come home a loser.   No matter how much money you have in the bank, losing is never fun.   One hundred, three hundred, five hundred dollars a week or more.  Eventually your losses cause you to question if playing the game is worth it.  I'm not talking about Gambler's Anonymous candidates here, I'm talking about everyday normal players like you and me.  They read VP books where guys and gals say they make millions of dollars playing this game.  They go on this forum where people reel off mathematics proving the game is profitable.   They keep losing, but they believe what you say and hang in there while the machines keep taking their money. One day, some "old guy" playing single coin quarters next to you says "It's all the same game."  You think about this and realize draining your bank account does not have to be part of VP.  There is a way to enjoy playing VP without the anger and depression.   Playing single coin quarters and sticking to it takes discipline.  It's not easy stomaching a $62.50 royal when $1,000 is just one button away.   The reward for enduring this event is knowing you have cut your cost to play down to lunch money size instead of being able to buy a nice car with your max coin losses.Playing cheap isn't for everyone.  It's for players who want to play VP free from the mental and financial suffering that comes with playing it.  If 99% of the VP players in the world switched to single coin quarters, VP machines would be ripped out of the casino, junked and replaced by penny slots.   This will never happen because players are swooned by the "Succubus of the Royal".I suspect you haven't played long enough to experience what I'm talking about or losing doesn't bother you.   Many of us are seriously troubled by losing, so we choose to limit our play in some way.  Playing single coin quarters is just one of many ways to accomplish this.  The only thing cheaper than that is playing on this website for free.

Losing doesn't bother me because I trust the math.
I came out here with two dedicated bankroll.
One for blackjack and other games, the other for video poker. The BJ one has grown slowly and steadily, mostly because I play with an awful lot of matchplays.
My VP bankroll is a series of highs and lows. A typical roller coaster ride. Its in a valley right now, but one RF would change that. It's been about 30,000 hands since my last one. Its not a matter of if I hit another one, it's a matter of when. If I factor in the savings of the two comped meals each week, and or the weekly free gift, I'm well ahead. August 1st, I will be getting a Ninja Pro Processor, that sells for about $150, as my quarterly gift.

I'm glad it has worked out for you.  As you can imagine, it doesn't for everyone.  Please try to understand not everyone plays VP for the same reason.   Like different flavors of ice cream, we have different motivations, skills and tolerance for variance.  If we can both accept that, then we are on our way to a forum that includes everyone no matter how they enjoy playing the game.

My first job when I get to the casino is to use bonus dollars on high limit slot machines (highest pay back).then I play a few hundred on high limit ultimate X (30 bucks a hand). Sometimes I get decent results and I always know how much I really have to play for the rest of the trip.

My first job when I get to the casino is to use bonus dollars on high limit slot machines (highest pay back) To me, the difficulty with slots is that there does not appear to be any way to identify their payback percentages. How do you determine it?
