Why Banning Single Coin Players is Stupid

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."
I have lost more money in the shortest amount of time playing 99.54 job than any other game.
It's so easy to get sucked into thinking odds tell the entire story of VP when they don't.  The only thing worse than waiting for a royal that never happens is waiting for a quad that doesn't.   At least with a royal you expect it!   There are no guarantees in video poker.   In VP math there is always room for every possible outcome, both good and bad.My goal is to go home from the casino every day with some money in my pocket.  If I do that, long term takes care of itself.  Lately, I find myself losing for hours playing max coin VP only to recover all my losses on some slot machine or VP pot shot.  My best hope has been to mix it up with about 50/50 max coin VP play and pot shots.

I never got to try the DW suggestion today. My machine was on fire. I had an early speed bump. Then I broke even and couldn't lose if my life depended on it. I abandoned the conservative strategy and bet max. Three threes. I got the fourth for $125. With DDB I'd be on cloud nine. I cashed out and dashed out to the curb in double time. I had to stop and tell the guard, pleasure doing business. No boardwalk give back, no extended stay. My way and the highway. I recommend the Cash Out Dash Out technique! Five Stars. FAA approved.

Olds, I won $30 with my $25 Caesars JOB FP and thought I'd quad. $1,001 Progressive, but quad seemed realistic. Lost it in a flash. I won $25 at the craps table with more FP. Back to JOB and more instant losing. Pure stubbornness! ATM and a dash to Harrah's salvaged my day big time.

Sounds like you had a good day.  Don't you love free play jackpots.  Two weeks ago I walked into the Tampa Hard Rock.  I checked my free play and I had $55.   I walked up to one of my favorite slots, bet $6.00 a throw and promptly hit three gold coins for 25 free spins.  Started the day up $450!  I gave the money to my wife and told her to hold it for me.   Never hit a thing playing VP and still went home a winner.   VP has been a long dry desert for me this year.  I can't even seem to break even on the change machine.   Thank God something's working.

Terrified of slots. I won't even risk that addiction. Every so often the casino steps off my neck. Unfortunately, I left about $50 on the table with my min wagers on premium hands. I was determined to produce a winning day. The machine rolled out the red carpet. Walk it and run out like it's on fire. Cash and Dash.

Great show FAA. The job Gods must have read my post and rewarded you for not abandoning it altogether. Also good going Phil...just goes to show that nothing is guaranteed in gambling of any kind. If slots work so be it. Better than being stubborn like I am many times with vp. Speaking of which, Sunday evening I was playing three lines at a buck a line on my favorite spin poker dollar machine. Nada nada nads for hours and was down close to my bankroll limit playing Bonus Deuces Wild. I decided to take a pot shot every 20 hands for 6 bucks at bet 2 per line on the 3 lines. If that didn't work, I would after a while take a pot shot every 20 hands but bet 3 per line quite steep at 9 bucks a shot. Well that is the highest I could try since my bankroll was now thinner than my favorite pair of old Levi jeans. Anyway, 20 more hands went by, I bet 3 per line on the 3 lines and was dealt 4 to the Royal. Assuming I would not hit the Royal, I just said to the machine....pleas just give me a wild royal so I can keep playing awhile. Up pops a real royal in hearts on the bottom row good for 2400 bucks. Left up a thousand which means like an idiot I gave 500 back and my thousand dollar roll was already about gone, but at least I got out of there up. Best of luck and most importantly good health to all.....Olds.......

I never got to try the DW suggestion today. That probably was a good thing.

Why? Are you afraid he might win?

That must be it. We are all shills for the casinos.
Great job, Sherlock.
You guys are such a joke.  If you win at the casino using your strategy, it's beers all around.  If someone wins out of pure luck, it's a crime.  You think you are in control of VP by using mathematics.  This is like thinking you are going to live to be 100 because you had an uncle who did.  No one cares how many coins anyone else plays with their own money, but you.
