Fortunately, I have a lot of unused comp dollars, so all comped except for the tip.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Or unfortunately. A lot of losing generates that comp level. Bon apetit!

bizarre and frightening!!---------------------------------Not really. It's free advertising for the casino at best. I only go overboard with a SF/RF. With quads, it's cash out, dash out. Pop a wheelie for me if you ever get another great hit!

DaBurglar,
I just started returning to AC the last couple years. I have only visited 3 or 4 times each year. I have had to cancel a few planned trips due to "Life Happens". Before 2015 I hadn't visited since 2008ish. My play as of late has been only at CET properties. They are the only ones who continued to send me usable/valuable comps despite my not visiting for so long. Others closed and the Borgata, out of the ones still open, only offers me 1 night and it is mid week. Not to mention the family prefers we stay on the Boardwalk. Anyhow, the amount I have played probably isn't a large enough sample size to draw a definite conclusion from. I can say when it is bad it is real bad. You can throw all the money you want at it and get nothing and bust in a heartbeat. I have had some good sessions though, mostly when playing dollar DDBAF at Bally's or triple play 25 cent DSTP at Bally's and Harrah's. I had posted somewhere in the past here about a time in Harrah's where a game I swore was 25 cent denom was changed to only $1 and up moments later.
I really only frequent 1 other casino, Mt. Airy in PA. Not sure if they are server based. They play there seems to be about the same there. I have noticed if I go there every week it is pretty much a loss every time but if I take a few weeks off I have a good one when I return. For an example, I had not gone to PA for 3 weeks due to my BR being decimated the last few months. I went this past weekend and left $15,462 ahead. Started on quarters TDB Triple play hit A's w/kicker on 1 line for $1000. Moved to WOF slot $3 bets and hit the spin $1000 before I had dropped a $100. Moved to $1 DblSTP Drew to A's w/k w/2times multiplier for $8000. Moved up to $2 denom and was dealt 4 3's no kicker w/ a 10 times multiplier for another $8000.
Mount Airy definitely has changed though from a few years back. Most noticeably the pay tables were lowered but the long dry spells seem more than they should be. Another thing I believe I posted about before was when there one time a game locked up on me with my credits still on machine. the techs came over messed with it a sec and said nothing they could do, the state had control of the machine and to give it a few minutes and it would come back on. It did. I found that odd.
So my question is, Which casino's in AC are not server based? I am going down for Thanksgiving for sure now that I have some BR again and should really give the other places a shot to see the difference as well as earn some points with them.

Plus $15,500 elsewhere and you want to wake sleeping dogs? Better to hibernate and return in the spring.

You may be right FAA. But the struggle is real.

Yes it is. I took many jabs at the $4,000 RF struggle today at my new fave Harrah's. They're still stubbornly withholding the crown jewel. I'll settle for a couple of C notes in the meantime. Elated with +$230 and a $210 net day. Caesars and Bally's seem money pits by comparison. I hate the isolated environment, but I returned to spend 5% of my winnings on eats later.

the new server based Game Kings at Borgata, yesterday was +$400 on Super Double Bonus. 2 straight flushes within 5
minutes of each other.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A wonderful day. I was thrilled with +$230 today at Harrah's. The gloom is lifting.

DaBurglar,
So my question is, Which casino's in AC are not server based? I am going down for Thanksgiving for sure now that I have some BR again and should really give the other places a shot to see the difference as well as earn some points with them.Right now, Resorts is not server based, and I am pretty certain Golden Nugget is either totally non-server, or only partially server based (probably in the process of eventually becoming 100% server based at some point in the future as it acquires more games and gets rid of the old chip based machines.)   Tropicana appears to also be somewhere in between server and non-server conversion....That leaves Borgota, which many posters here are saying at least has SOME machines on a server.....7 casinos left in AC, the CET-Three (Ballsys, Harrahs and Caesars) are server, the other 4 either not or partial.    But obviously, servers are here to stay and its only a matter of time before ALL casinos everywhere operate on servers for ALL their game machines.

So it poses the question: DaBurglar; if ALL casinos everywhere operate on servers for ALL their game machines, will you stop playing?

FAA, your comp dollars at Borgata are based on coin in, not wins or losses. I am down -$250 for the year though. Not bad for the. Pin in I have put thru.
