CET vs. The Field

Car mentioned in the prior thread that he does not play at CET properties. I am interested in additional feedback from him and all AC players. It may assist me in formulating next year's planning.

I occasionally will go to the Double Joker progressives at Caesars. They are the best game in Ac that I am aware of. Royal resets at 2k for a .25 denom. 99.91% at reset and is almost always over 100%. Environment is too smoky, noisy and more often than not dirty. Pick my spots there carefully. Harrah's doesn't have anything Borgata doesn't have, in fact I think Borgata has more 9/6 Jacks at all denoms and 9/5 SDB, a 99.69% game. Surroundings are nicer, Amphora Lounge is nice great restaurants that I can use my comps at. BTW, Borg gave me a beatdown yesterday. 1.00 9/6 Jacks and .50 SDB for 2 &1/2 hrs, not a single quad, maybe 1500-1800 hands. Lost 1K. Won $ 400 the previous trip though.

Smoky, noisy and often dirty. The VP area's eerie darkness is what ultimately drove me away. I feel even more like a crime victim. If I play quarters, I'm stuck in front of the CW door or the opposite noisy side. Bally's makes Caesars look like heaven. Harrah's raised 9/6 JOB to dollars, so I must tolerate that now. It's exciting, but since losing trips are the norm, heavy losses. I'll earn the Platinum card, spend my comps on a last supper and start afresh at Borgata next year. Pure hell getting a bar seat on weekends, but at least you lose slower. Familiar with their 9/6 dollar destruction, so I have shunned the property. I love the palatial, luxurious environment.

maybe you should try the second floor at caesars faa,it's non smoking.not as many machines as downstairs but at least i can breathe there.

Not a bad idea. It's been a while since I played upstairs. Great lighting, no smoke. Machines were a bit tight, but if I'm extremely cautious I should BE.

AC is good if one hits a RF per year to cover losses. There are enough well paying games around.

Weekly player. One erases most to all red ink. Trips are at the point where I'd settle for one quad and a 50% bankroll loss.
