Unlike some posters on this forum, video poker, and accumulating kitsch (casino "gifts") is not my life.
It's fine if that's your passion, no worries here.
I prefer to chase "comps" that matter. I absolutely love to talk miles and points with anyone with a similar passion for travelling the world in first class for free. There's no "catch", like there is in gambling, where you are risking your bank account, in hopes of scoring a "free" buffet or a new kitchen pot.
Way off topic here from the OP, who was inquiring about DIAD. So, I won't hijack this thread. But, I will unequivocally state that the Caesars branded card is indeed a "turd". I suggested one option in my post above, but there are many, many more similar options out there that surpass any "benefit" from the turd.
FYI, I've done the Marquee Rewards free NCL cruise and that was a huge disappointment . . . to each their own
Why do you keep talking about some Caesar's branded card when I have three times mentioned the Founders Card.
You claim you want to discuss miles and opportunities yet immediately discount something I can only assume you are
not familiar with.

Oh blast......bloody hell.....Why don't you just spill / spell out about this almighty founders card you are so enthralled with and are so contemptuous of others who DO NOT know (or care) what it is....??? Seriously, you obviously WANT to talk about it and tell us all what we are missing.......PLEASE do, instead of criticizing the other guy's posting about the TURD cards offered by Caesars.Of course one thing you could legitimately Batch about concerning your beloved founders card is WHY THE hell doesn't the rest of us just GOOGLE the gol dang thing in the first place (Like I am about to do right now.......)(12 minutes and 34 seconds later)OK this is one of those things that unless you went ahead and actually GOT it when you first discovered it, you probably have forgotten about it, but once you now SEE it again like in this website https://founderscard.com/ or this one https://thepointsguy.com/2015/01/founde ... orth-it/it all comes back to you pretty quick and you at least partially recall just what the hell the Founders Card is and does in relation to what we originally were discussing here in this thread regarding Travel, earning stuff etc.....

"FYI, I've done the Marquee Rewards free NCL cruise and that was a huge disappointment...."+1 CET was actually sending me several mailers/flyers in addition to e-mails REALLY pushing this deal/trip/thing etc. Norwegian Cruise Lines "Complimentary" trip etc......the mailers from CET properties in AC were extremely emphatic this year in trying to get me to drop whatever I was doing and go sign up for this booze cruise.

Yeah man. You stay, you pay. Cruise is a trap. Beat down is a wrap.

Bonnie and I enjoy these cruises and sail 2-4 weeks a year. The "free" cruises end up costing about $500 per person plus transportation to and from the port city. To minimize the travel cost per trip, we often take back-to-back cruises --- where there are different itineraries each week. I find no reason to enter the casino during the cruises --- the games suck. We do not buy alcohol on the cruises. Way too expensive. I do not consider it to be a big deal to avoid these things --- but others on this site apparently do.As you may have deduced from my pseudonym, dancing is one of my hobbies. Most of the cruises have suitable dance music most evenings. If I didn't have a partner and/or didn't enjoy dancing, perhaps cruises wouldn't be so attractive. But I do and they are.

Either you like cruises, locked in close proximity with hundreds of your closest "friends" or you don't.
Living in Las Vegas, I find oodles of opportunities and oddly enough, that includes dancing that doesn't involve travelling and sailing, to the tune of $1000 or more on a "free" casino cruise.

It never occurred to me that Bob Dancer likes Dancing....now we know. 'My criticism of the offer from CET for a "FREE" Norwegian Cruise deal revolves around the strange "aggressive zeal " (for lack of a better term) in the efforts of CET to get me to partake of this so-called PERK, whereas other perks do not seem to get nearly the same attention or effort on their behalf.....I do not like the casual and disingenuous usage of the term "FREE" either.....too many things related to or within the casino business get the descriptor "FREE" when in reality they are anything BUT..... I do not have a problem or difficulty with avoiding certain undesirable aspects of either casinos, or cruises (such as the horrible pay tables on Cruise ship casino games, or the overpriced sub quality BOOZE, especially because I do NOT drink alcohol)....And quite obviously.......I, Da Burglar, DO NOT DANCE.....not unless you count crashing my mobility device into chairs and tables and trashcans whenever an AC/DC song comes over the airwaves.....oops, there I go again, playing the "Crippled Card".....

1. total rewards has made diamond status a lot less rewarding starting in 2018
2. You should practice at least until your 99% accurate at the game
3. will you be able to play the best pay table i.e. 9/6?
4. what denomination can you afford to play at? you might be hard pressed at Caesars to find this pay table for less then $1 per credit
5. if all your looking to do is become diamond you could get a founders club card for $600 for a 2 year membership and be diamond that way without gambling to achieve it
