LAst Gasp Important Rant #1

Post by DaBurglar »

Check out these cowardly desk jockey cops who just made it much harder for the GOOD Legit Officers out there to do their jobs....this is both Unreal and just plain WRONG in the most cowardly sense:http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Mich ... .phpNotice how the jerkimo officer in the white hair WAITS until he thinks he is out of Camera line of sight to attack the annoying-but-NONCRIMINAL citizen.   Epitome of DUMB yet ever-so Hateful person that our society is filled with today......

Cowardly desk jockey cops take notice... DaBurglar has ranted and this will surely bring an end to your disgusting behavior! This rant was definitely important. If only there were places we could find this information out besides videopoker.com. I'm not sure how we will find out what is wrong with the world once you stop ranting here. Awaiting Important Rant #2 that will bring us still closer to enlightenment!

If Congress would stop being cowards and eliminate the money losing penny, incidents like these will be eliminated. Maga.

Ok....please note I am a big fan of sarcasm and poking fun at the absurdity in life, especially at oneself....on a purely objective level this isn't a bad counter rant.

Now, Don't dodge this question: this section of the forum is called ..... what?

after you answer that, explain precisely the issue you have with me posting this rant, or any other thing, here! What precisely would, in your opinion, be acceptable posts for me to plop in this section....?

And if your answer to "what's the problem" truly, and simply, is I (me, Daburglar) bug the living Shiite out of you, that's ok too, because, after all, this is the section of the forum called....What again???

I was hoping to generate some topical discussion about police actions, brutality, etc. We often here unequivocal statements in support of law enforcement....while I myself do indeed appreciate the activities and work of law enforcement too, I am not one to unequivocally support them, but rather I realistically see how there are just enough rotten apples in a generally good supply that one cannot just assume always that police officers are always right.

Arrogant sadistic morons like the dopes in this video make it hard for all the excellent officers out there and actually endanger lives with crap like this....they give the obnoxious, unhinged elements on the Fringe of groups like BLM just enough justification to keep doing what they are doing (otherwise they'd just dry up and go away)

Thank you for accepting my sarcasm. If I can try to be a bit helpful and answer your question about why it's so bothersome (to me at least), I think it's just that your topics in this area (and posts in most of the forum) tend to be more "Anything and Everything Wrong With the World" than Anything and Everything. You are constantly complaining or arguing it feels like.  There is so much more to the world than that and I come here to get away from the stress of the news, people bickering on facebook, etc. I simply don't care what a bunch of video poker players think about some of these things (especially politics). But I do care what they think about experiences related to video poker (and other parts of life related to it). And I guess other subjects as well... it's just always so negative it feels like. You have every right to post these rants. I think you can tell from the response level that a lot of people aren't very interested though and I think your time would be better spent some other way. I really see absolutely nothing positive coming from these posts. If you want to make the world a better place, try spreading some cheer instead of gloom. I know it can be hard to come by these days. But after that explanation, I will leave it alone and I won't diss your rants any more. It's your right and I know don't have to read your threads if I don't like the topic. I just tend to read most of the new topics in the forum and need to get better about not getting irritated myself. So I'm sorry for that.

Ok. Thanks for the thoughtful explanation of your views and opinion. I was hoping to get that level of depth and thought from not only you but others as well regarding the original post/ video which I linked from another site.

I agree with you that the world and news is depressing and generally lousy...gambling and casinos are pure escapism so I also get how one might not want to bother with such on a site like this.   Maybe that's why I decided to curtail rants after this year....

The point you brought up about time being better spent elsewhere is a little hollow though.... I'm not sure what others think but it doesn't take me much time to post what I do here, often toggling between other sites and tasks like EBAY as I watch and update items I'm selling. I myself think we'd all be better off if we limited the time and money we spend in actual casinos and instead channelled it to other more profitable and beneficial areas.... I did this almost 2-12 years ago, slashing my time and visits, mostly to AC, to less than a third of what they used to be prior to 2015. I definitely have more discretionary cash about, and I am a little healthier too...

That's just me of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if others here reaped even greater benefits from LESS casino activity, and perhaps found whatever remaining casino time and action became more enjoyable (less is more Definitely works here...)
