How's the VP at Harrah's Philly (Chester)? Or Sugar House. The travel time is about the same from here as to AC and was thinking of checking it out sometime. I could save on toll's and still earn Tier credits if it's worth it.

It's been a long time since I visited any of Philly's casinos, but a couple years back, I wouldn't say the VP at any of them was " worth it "... it's just nice sometimes to try and play at different venues to see if your luck/pluck/fortune/karma/cosmic life force etc is any different at the new place.

I should live so long. For now, I'm weathering the storms. My problems stem primarily from my own lack of discipline. Not packing it in, but plowing on for yet more profits. As the Bard sagely warned, "Men at some time are masters of their fates. The fault, dear Burglar, is not in our stars. But in ourselves."

I should just take the ride and try it out I guess. Wish they had a hotel though.
I did well this past weekend at Bally's and Caesar's. Came home ahead $4300 and played enough to secure Diamond status for another year. Maybe our paths will cross next trip 'round.

4300 and diamond for a year! Good trip, you should share the details for the rest of the forum, whom I am certain would enjoy a bonafide story of realistic casino success.

If you can find the time, swing by March 16-22... I'm easy to identify so don't ever hesitate to just introduce yourself, even if I'm giving the finger to a rigged VP terminal

Congratulations. This excellence certainly calls for a TR. Caesars has been much kinder this year. Bally's is still rather a dump, so I've continued to bypass it. Much less stressful once I escaped Harrah's recent tightness.

I hope its for the year. That's the way I think it works. Once you make it to a level you keep it until the next year, right? I earned 16,879 TC's this trip. Well, some were bonus TC's and the Feb. Double credit promo helped.

The promotion TC officially get added by March 6. Sounds like they got you early or you just did early math. I only hit 5,000 TC per year. Cannot even contemplate that coin in.

Wow! I didn't realize that. So maybe I will be getting a big boost in TC's next week.

FAA, between Friday 4:00am and Sunday 2:30pm I only slept 4 hours. I was in AC from 11:30am until 11:00am Sunday. Only stopped playing for 3 meals, 1 of them breakfast in my room, a few walks between Caesar's and Bally's and a 1 hour walk up/down the Boardwalk. The games were playing well enough to keep me alive. Twice I came very close to busting my BR but was saved by a replenishing hand.
I don't visit as often as you so when I go I go to play as much as I can. It can and has gone either way for me. I save/bring a BR for the trip and play 'til its gone or If things go right I'm ahead when I'm ready to quit. Larger hits (over $1000) I will stash away some to take home but the smaller ones, Quads etc., stay in the game. That's where the coin in keeps climbing. My starting BR this trip was less than $1000. I started playing 10 cent denomination 5 lines DSTP DDB for most of the first night. That is what almost broke me. Way to many DUD hands between anything positive and getting to close for comfort for me. I decided after coming back the second time from the brink thanks to 10 times A's w/k on 1 line and A's w/o on aother line I would move to $1 single line DDBAF. Luckily it worked out.

Yes, they haven't supplemented my TCs yet. Your TCs are unaided then it seems. I guess any bonus nudges you into the next Diamond tier, and more offers and inducements. My Inferences: 11:30 AM Friday arrival, so 71.5 hours. Guesstimate 67 gambling hours, which explains the $340,000 coin in. This further assumes either mostly dollar play or quarter/half play on inferior pay tables. The only thing averting disaster were those two savior hands.
