This really hit home. I hit a quartet of quads on three machines yesterday in one hour of play within a two hour window. But one was three coin and three were one coin. I artificially depressed my normal meager session BR by refusing to lose half of it. So I played tight and scared. Just glad I don't have a wasted SF or RF on the ledger. Bad enough I left $350+ in winnings on the table. It takes money to make money. Don't be the eunuch in the bordello.

I think Bob's point was spot on.
Why bring $500 to a casino if you are only going to gamble half of it.
If someone is willing to lose $300 in the session, having a couple hundred more serves what purpose?
We aren't talking walking around money, but actual gambling BR.

So what you now saying is that, whenever you are in a casino, every single cent on your person is in play, all the time? If that's your honest intention and plan, and what you want and prefer to do, then fine. I think it's nuts but it's a free country...and you are not a reknowned gambling advocate and "expert"...

I myself can think of lots of reasons and scenarios why a person just might have ( intentionally or inadvertently), or want to have, money on them in a casino that has nothing to do with gambling.

It's a fine line. Let's not get disingenuous. I brought the money to gamble and I largely bailed out. It was counterproductive. I get the drift.
