Data recording of VP sessions

Has anyone ever tried wearing something like the newer cameras that fit into glasses...or even something like a GoPro camera, when they play to record and analyze what the experience? This may be a way to start really, truly seeing what's going on with certain aspects of VP.

I'd love to have my old cranberry juice stained notes from the early 2000s, but that's not the same as video!

Seriously, anyone have any ideas or thoughts on how this might work?

You could get a mini tripod for your smart phone as well to record VP sessions.

My son has those sunglasses with a camera in them. I believe they only take short videos, not sure. Never thought about using them in a casino, lol. I doubt however, that the casino would allow it. (If they knew anyhow) It's one thing to take a picture, but I'm sure they probably wouldn't allow video taping. Interesting thought though.

well, I was hoping to segue this thread into a different conversation about my Double Up challenge, so let me do it now since the Sunglasses idea seems to be a bust due to Shortness of time allowed to video record (if I am wrong about this, someone please speak up!)My AC double Up challenge still stands....I will meet anyone anywhere, and we will find a game with the lowest denom possible for the express purpose of testing the Double Up integrity.    I think we could find a 5 cent game and purposely limit betting just one credit so that each time a winner showed up we could just hit double up and record the result, up to a 1000 hand threshold.....take a break, then do it again, maybe five sessions total (5000 hands)I will put at least 200-300 bucks on the line that the overall win rate will be below 45%....if its 46% or above, the other guy(s) win, if not, I win.   I'm certain I will win....As a side note, we'll also simply track the number of times an ACE shows up during the five thousand hand session.*Note*  I'm willing to do MORE hands if someone is willing to sit thru it with me......If someone has a better idea how to resolve this debate about the integrity of AC Double Up, I'm all hearing aids.

Other than the casino totally forbidding it, it would be pretty cool. I am pretty sure if casinos see you're wearing things like google glass, you'll probably be asked to remove it, even if you're at slots or VP and just recording for data purposes. Casinos always err on the side of paranoia of course... From what I can read on the net, sounds like the battery will last 30 minutes with video.

And what happens if it's between 45.0% and 46.0% percent?

Mike Shackleford and a friend of mine recently recorded a guy playing two VP machines at RR. They reviewed the tapes to deduct for any errors and determined he was playing around 1500 hands an hour, IIRC.

Why not another long winded post? We're all too accustomed to them by now, for pity's sake. As to your eventual point, I fervently concur that sucker DU percentage shall not exceed 45%. No data required. Furthermore, aforementioned suckers shall be left staring at a bewildering percentage of house aces. Conclusion: decline the offer. Better yet, disable the feature. Get woke, suckers! Don't you lose enough via conventional play?

Tried recording lengthy videos (esp when I was vlogging ) in my local casino and almost always in less than 5 minutes somebody comes up and yells at me about filming, even if it’s just the screen. I heard some casinos are more open than others.
However, I will say this unoriginal saying...nothing ventured, nothing gained.
