3/25/2018 play

Post by wildman49 »

Wife and I had some recreational play yesterday. While I had a good amount of hits I ended the day dead even on 35k coin in. I had 2 nice open end SF hits early on . I was telling the wife on our ride that I have not hit a SF in many trips. I also seem to get a lot of dealt hands every trip. Them are nice to see. Well then its down hill for many hours as we played a good 10 hours. I'm in a hole and gave BDLX a shot for the 400 coin for of a kind. No go, none coming my way. Shifted gears to DW and looking for the 4 ducks. My ship came in! After what was looking like a beating on the day turns on a dime. I then wander to muti hand bank. All seats empty. I love to go down a row of machines looking for a fast hit and run. Very first machine about 30 hands in 4 ducks 1000 quarters! Cash out move over, 6th hand 4 ducks another 1000 quarters! I played all 10 machines the rest mostly dead play. I was now up $400 on the day.Lost $200  back and then found the wife, had nice steak dinner from the host and after eats wife and I lost the other $200 playing quarter deuces together and there for left me even. Back to the grind Monday!Good luck chasing the royal!current temp 42edit to add I used a new hosting site for photos http://imgbb.com/.......................................................................................................

All in all, a damn good day. But, 10 hours of play? That's impressive. For me, a three hour session is about the most I can handle comfortably. Two such sessions a day is about my max.

Awesome report...and a nice victory for you. You played, you ate all on the casinos' dime....a very very typical, realistic and believable experience of the winning kind!

Straight flushes are indeed very rare but do seem to come in groups of several or more at a time... I honestly wish they paid more, even though that's not realistic given Current practice, climate and expectations of the Casinos. 400 credits would be acceptable to me...

Welcome back Phil too...

I wished they paid more as well, but once you start offering more than about 500 credits for them, strategy starts getting more difficult because straight flush draws because more powerful.

Nice run wildman!

For sure! Does anyone remember the All American poker game that paid 1000 credits for a straight flush?

Sounds like a nice trip Wildman. Always like to see pics of good hits. Funny thing I've noticed over the years. Many times when I hit a straight flush, I hit a Royal later in the session on the same machine. As to the long session.....join the club there. I am still able to do it with a few stretches. After though I have to take a long fast walk to re limber up. Once I do that I'm fine. I really am counting my blessings and feel 18 even though I will hit 70 in a couple of months.

I run like the casino is on fire after a SF. Strong win day and peace of mind.
Many times when I hit a straight flush, I hit a Royal later in the session on the same machine.
I always wondered if anyone else has ever noticed this?  Whenever I hit a straight flush it seems like other good things happen.  Last week I hit a straight flush and 2 sets of quad aces within 30 minutes of each other.  Coincidence?Whatever the cause... I'll take it,
