Mohegan Sun pay table update

Post by olds442jetaway »

This post may help out some who haven't been to Mohegan Sun or go there infrequently unlike myself who nearly lives there. This isn't a complete list, but is what I can remember from my latest middle of the night walk around.
There are quarter 99 percent games throughout the casino. I will start with The Hall of Lost Tribes area in the Earth casino because it is non smoking. There are 99 games when you first walk in. A cube of 6. There are a few at the bar far end. They finally reopened a long bank of 99 games on the wall near the men's room. The games are at the quarter level, but you can play halves or dollars if you like and up to 25 units at a time may be bet. The above are all single line games.
There are quite a few in the smoking area in the Earth Casino on the way in to the Hall of lost tribes. There are a few at the bow and arrow bar. quarters and up.
There are some at the Wold Den Bar and throughout other areas in the Earth Casino.
The are 3 under the non smoking Turtle Dome in the Sky Casino. Others are scattered throughout the sky casino and the bars. Some are brand new machines, but most are the old ones and many need maintenance here and there.
In the Wind Casino, there are 2 rows back to back near the cashier on the left as you enter the wind casino. Others are scattered in the wind casino. Wind is all smoking last I knew.
There are 3 other machines I want to point out and I play them quite frequently, but usually in the middle of the night because they are hard to get many times. In the Sky casino sandwiched between the players club and the high limit room, there is a dollar machine at the end of the row. It has many games in it, but in particular, for the spin poker game, it pays 800 for the Royal for bet 1. It varies between 98 and 99 games. Careful, job is only 9/5 on this machine, but the Bonus Deuces Wild is 98.8.
The second machine is a Multi Strike machine between the Hall of Lost Tribes and Bow and Arrow Bar at the end of a row of 4 machines. It has 98 percent or better games starting at a nickel but you have to play all 4 lines at least bet 5 to get the correct Royal payout. Still not bad as that can be as little as 5 nickels per line for the 4 lines.
The last machine is an All Star game at the end of a row starting at the quarter level. If you play spin poker on it, it does pay 800 for bet one, but the pay table is pretty poor and below 98. However, this one does pay Momentum Dollars and give you status points as well. All of the other machines listed above only give you status points and no points you can spend.
One easy was to spot a 99 percent machine is to look for s small narrow white or black and white sign on them that states the machine does not pay momentum dollars. That way you won't go crazy looking at the pay tables for every machine in the casino. Hope this helps. By the way, don't worry about taking over my 3 favorite machines or the row near the men's room in non smoking so I can never get them. If they are busy, I will save money that's for sure and go do something else at the casino instead of play. Phil, you may want to print this for next week in case we don't cross paths and you don't get a grand tour like last time. In fact, you may not even need the grand tour giving you and yours extra play time. If nothing else, we will have coffee and for sure.

What are the games and pay tables that get the black or white signs?

Olds, do they still have the dollar full pay Pick'ems? You ever play them?

Fantastic. The sliding denomination machines are the only ones I would play. Borgata also extends this not so common courtesy. CET mostly locks you into either quarter only machines or dollars!

As far as I know all of the 99 games have the black and white signs. Most of them, but not all are single line games.

I will have to see about the pickem. I think there is still one row of them in the earth casino. They are almost always busy, so I suspect they have good paytables. I don't play pickem, so I will have to write down the table and also see if they have the sign. Always, no sign means paytable at 98 or lower.
At least on the Joker Kings machines the 17/7 ones pay 940 for one for the Royal. Most of the games above have a multitude of games within them including DDB. From what I remember the DDB best games they have is 9/6
for quarters making the game right around 99 percent.

I am the former vpfree Mohegan Sun monitor and I can attest that there are numerous $1 and up full pay Pick'em machines still in operation. Olds rightly pointed out that you do not receive momentum dollars for playing full pay machines however you do accrue status points. That was Management's way of "leveling the playing field.".. You know, because we were all making too much playing negative games. HA.

Yeah, CET's full pay JOB is basically a comp free grind of killer losses at all denominations.

VPFree2.com says the Mohegan Sun has single line quarter 9/6 Jacks or Better.  Can you please verify this?
