We have been playing in AC for the last three days. We are staying at the Borgata and it's a very nice hotel. One of the reasons we wanted to come here was to check out forum reports of rigged VP machines. I thought these reports were being made by players who blamed their poor results on the machines. To be honest, I have never seen a VP machine that I thought was not completely fair, until now. Rather than make accusations, I will report what we have seen and let the reader decide.
On various VP machines throughout the casino when a card is discarded it blinks on the draw but is not replaced. My wife first noticed this when she held 4 cards and discarded the eight of spades. The eight of spades remained on the draw spin. When she showed me we started looking for it. We found this happens randomly throughout the casino at different times. After three days of solid play, neither one of us has hit a quad deuce and regular quads are very rare.
I assume this would be very difficult for a weekend player to spot. We don't know if it would show up in a test of the CPU and RNG software. We are cutting our trip short by a day and moving on to the Mohegan Sun.
Are These Games Rigged?

The machine keeps a record of recent hands. If you see that happen again, immediately get a slot attendant to review the past hand. What machines did this happen on?

Please capture a cell phone video of that "blink" of the same card on the draw and you will be many people's hero. Otherwise, nobody will believe you and will think it was a spades/club switch etc that is easily misinterpreted.I mean really... that would be so noticeable to a frequent player that it seems almost impossible that nobody would have mentioned it before now, especially those who have been skeptical for 7+ years.Just invest a few bucks in capturing that video by holding 4 cards a bunch of times. You will be able to prove the faulty machines in no time at all.In fact, I'll give you $40 myself just to cover the cost if you indeed capture that video and either send it to me or post it to youtube. I'll mail you cash or send via paypal once I see the proof.Yes, I'm skeptical. But I'll put my money where my mouth is. You threw the accusation out there, let's see you back it up.

We did report it to a slot attendant. She called the floor manager. We waited for an hour, but he never showed. We know what we both saw. Use this information as you see fit.

I vowed to dive into the Atlantic if FP hit a RF. His flush BR was summarily flushed. I remain dry, even as he is high and dry. I do recall the same card replacement syndrome there, now that he jogs the bad memories. They came up like bad pennies! You know, maybe CET isn't so bad after all.

That's great, but if you really are able to get evidence of faulty machines so easily, PLEASE do it. I'll up my donation to $100 if you're able to come up with the video to prove it. Then we can explore what it means and what to do with the information. But if it's just your word against the world... well, that won't do anyone any good. This is a big deal, don't just blow it off. If it ends up being an honest mistake of seeing black cards or red cards flip to their counterpart, no big deal.... we've all been there before. I'm going to assume that's what happened no matter how many times you repeat it, because... well, this claim is fairly ludicrous. But you could gain a lot of credibility (and at least $100) should it be proven.

It's definitely happening and we aren't seeing things. It would be hard to prove without filming a video while you play. I'm sure that wouldn't be allowed. If they're caught they will say it's a keyboard malfunction. Perfect....

No, it's not happening. It was a spade flipping to a club or a heart to a diamond. Simple as that. I haven't heard of a casino complaining about a phone video. They are all over youtube people posting their play.

Do me this favor Phil... if you really won't take my $100 for a simple video. When you hold 4 cards, say the 5th card out loud before you draw and then tell me if it happens. I think this is a simple misobservation. If it keeps happening with that approach, let me know.
