No Quads!

Post by wilcoxfun »

I played $20,000 coin in last few times I played at casino. I had played last night for four hours on several different machines. Not one single quad for the whole night. In the past three weeks I have had only one night getting quads.

Did they turn off the quad part of the machines?

I noticed on the progressive double double bonus (quarter machine) that the aces with kicker was over $600!

Time for a break. I get upset if I go 0 for 800 with quads. Seems like 0-2,400 with you.

It is amazing to me how scarce quads can get at times.  I play DDB and TDB on this website for fun.  I can sometimes go days without a quad.   My results on this website are abysmal compared to real casino play.   If quads aren't happening for you, try deuces wild for a change.   You might like it.

I think my lifetime record on job without quads is 8 hours of play or about 5000 hands. Unfortunately, it is not that uncommon to go 5 or 6 hours without one. If you combine that with scarce full houses, job can eat your bankroll faster than Deuces wild without 4 deuces. To add insult to injury, I tend to pull quad aces, 2s, 3s, and 4s all the time when playing job. Just Wednesday nite playing 9/6 quarter job, I got quad aces with a 2 within fifteen minutes. Whenever I try DDB, which isn't all that often, I always seem to get the cheap quads if I get any quads at all. I would say about 70 percent of my play now is Deuces Wild just for the reasons above. I like Joker Kings too, but if that goes quadless or nearly so and you don't hit the higher hands, you are done.

I was playing nickels, quarters and dollars. The better play tables were at the dollar level.

Pay tables have nothing to do with the frequency of quads. The best DDB day I ever had was playing single coin quarter 8/5 DDB.   Quads fell out of the sky all day in a game paying 95.5%.   I was playing to kill some time.  I never hit a $62.50 royal which would have added more salt to my wounds.
