Check my math on this free play offer.

Post by Jojo2018 »

I think this offer gives me negative return, right?

Earn $10 in free play when you earn 100 slot points. Have to do $35 coin-in to get 1 pt at my casino. So:

$10/100 slot points/$35 = .28571

The best machine here is 98.45. So: 98.45+.28571 = 98.73571.

Still a negative game, right?

Your math is correct. Still negative. You can also add in the normal slot club comp dollars too if they have those. Figure the percentage the same way. Some slot clubs are the equivalent of 0.1%. I think south point or other vegas casinos is 0.3%

To get better offers, you often need to play more, not less.

I never see such offers in AC. They must figure that 99.54% is incentive enough!

It may or may not be a good offer. Depends on:          Are you sure 9-5 JoB is the highest returning game? How recently have you checked? A promotion of 0.28+% might be enough to make moving up in stakes a reasonable option if they have better games at a higher level. Some people limit their search to the games they know how to play. If you learn another game can you get a better return? (How easy it is to learn another game depends on your experience, intelligence, available time, willingness, etc.)                    Do you have any idea what mailers you get when you play?          What does the slot club return? Are there point multipliers and can you double dip this promo with a multiplier day?          What else does the slot club give you? Travel money? Drawings? Cruises? RFB?Your math was indeed correct if the situation was exactly like you said --- and I assume you believe what you said is true. But there are often hidden goodies that require a second or third look.
