does anyone know the house egde on that 8/5 i think progressive jacks or better 3 play game?i see the jackpot is a tad over 5k but its a 3.75$ per turnits in ballys by the asian diner if that helps

I think you are talking about the 8/5 Bonus Poker triple play progressives at Bally"s? Top line resets at 1200, middle at 1100 and bottom at 1000. My general rule of thumb,(not scientific) was that once the total of the 3 jackpots got to 3,600, the overall theo was close to standard 9/6 JOB at 99.54%. That is when I would sit down to play. Once was dealt 4 to a royal on one of these machines and pulled the royal on 2 lines.

It's not just the three games by the Chinese food emporium.... there's a much much larger group of the same game, albeit with a different jackpot, on the other side of the casino, about 16 total stations. To catch the big huge top jackpot obviously you have to be dealt the royal...the highest I've seen it was nearly 19,000 bucks over a year ago.

It's truly an incredibly boring game to play....
