Personally, I would unhold and hold each one just to make sure the buttons were working correctly and double check that my holds were correct.  It doesn't take long to make sure and the pain from a malfunction or an error would be substantial.  I've never lost a big jackpot that way that I know of, but I do worry that I will.  In some casinos I would take a video.  I'm still not sure they would pay me on a malfunction, but I would have something to show when I walked into the Regulator's office.  Poorly maintained machines are a big problem everywhere.  I think some casinos use them to increase the house edge.  I suspect keyboard problems are not detectable when the compliance of the chip is tested.   Good question for someone in the know.

Dice tossed before any cards came

I bet that was a real shock on the deal! I expect mostly garbage with my 10X rolls. Lol

I see a lot more Hot Roll in your future!

I’ve really started to like hot roll. The multipliers always seem to be at least 6x.

Great hit!   Yes, on Hot Roll with the dice the multipliers do seem to exceed 6 quite often, with 8 thru 10 showing up often!

But this hit of yours, with a 10X on a dealt quads, I've never seen nor heard of such a fortuitous hit!!!!

VERY NICE!! I have played this hot roll a bit at the nickel level, whats cool is the dice can roll before  the deal or even when you hit draw they can roll!

Awesome results! Can’t imagine what kind of bankroll that game requires at the $50 a hand level! Love this game myself but from limited exposure here on this site it seems to be feast or famine so playing 10 handed at any stakes would require a proper bankroll for sure.
Dice tossed before any cards came

I see a lot more Hot Roll in your future!
Yes, I have to agree with this observation as well, not just on Hot roll but on ALL multiplier-"gimmick" games such as Super Times Pay (and DSTP of course), the ubiquitous  Ultimate X games & their variants, Hyper Bonus Poker, Good Times Pay, etc.   When a large multiplier shows up, you will almost certainly receive crapola on the deal, and in the cases where you do receive a "paying hand" on the deal with a multiplier on the board, almost always on such hands it's something like two pair or a simple pair of Jacks thru Aces.   It's ridiculous how obvious they make it and the fact that it's clearly part of the game algorithm/programming. thus violating (both technically and "in spirit") the whole RANDOMNESS mantra. Also, I need to amend (or even rescind) my previous post above where I state in agreement with a previous poster that the majority of multipliers on Hot roll are above average (i.e. "above a roll of 6").....not true, since subsequent to making the above referenced post, this past weekend in AC at the three CET properties, on several instances, I tried playing Hot Roll, 5 cents, 10 handed.....I totaled about an hour's worth of play, perhaps a little more, over several days; over these three or four short sessions of 25-30 minutes each, my Total number of hands played was about 1500 'DEALS' (which, times ten for 10-handed play, technically equals 15,000 total hands), mostly 7/5 Bonus Poker.  The VAST majority of my multipliers were between three and seven (I never hit the extremes of either snake eyes or Box Cars, nor did I catch any elevens either)....Ten was my highest "roll" and that happened exactly one time.   I never had a Pre-deal multiplier apply to anything better than two pair, even though on numerous NON paying deals I was dealt three of a kind, straights and flushes (but no Full Boats or Quads, etc) !!   As I said, it's absurd how obvious they make it that the game has some element of programmed logic to it that somehow manages the confluence of Winning hands (either before or after the Deal and subsequent Hold & Draw).....OR, the other possibility which I still am certain happens throughout AC especially on Server based systems, is the programs simply deal MORE crap hands than statistically normal (remember, 55% of all hands on average are expected to be non-paying "duds" for statistically normal, random VP games, with obvious exceptions going to wild card games.)   It is definitely NOT Random in the technical sense we all understand and expect the term to mean when it comes to our video poker.

I wonder if Hard Rock AC will follow suit? If Phil's track record is any indication, we may be safe!
