Max Coin Quarters vs. Single Coin 50 Cents

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Some one needs to re-read correctly... or perhaps to recognize sarcasm.

My motivation for posting the same thing over and over again is I enjoy watching you guys take turns at my posts.   It's more fun than watching the Three Stooges.   You never read my posts, you just comment on what you think I say.  Of course I don't play single coin anymore.   I must have discussed this 50 times already.  If the odds plus the comps make the game worthwhile to play, play whatever you need to do to maximize both.   I enjoy the free resort stays we earn and my free play is worth a couple of royals a year.  I even added footnotes.  Maybe I should add cartoons next time?My comments on playing negative VP games with single coin are aimed at two groups of players.  Those who don't earn comps and those who think they can beat negative games with Martingale or some other pseudo strategy.   Believe it or not there are casinos in this world where the comps are worthless.  I want those players to know the only way to reduce losses on a negative video poker game is to play less, cheaper or slower.  Playing negative games bigger, faster or longer increases the cost to play these games.  End of story. This is the Recreational Play Forum.  Players come here to talk about playing VP for entertainment.   If you need to play big denominations to be entertained, you are playing the wrong game.    Play live poker where you have half a chance.  Pitting yourself against a machine created by a casino for the sole purpose of taking your money is a waste of time.    There will always be a cost to play these games.  It's up to you to decide what that cost will be.

Always appreciate the sermon. Keep preaching the Gospel of Small. A zero quad day on dollar is destructive. I need advice that is instructive. As I am stubborn, it takes a while to absorb and apply.

It may appear that Phil has been playing some people here better than he plays video poker?

It may appear that Phil has been playing some people here better than he plays video poker? You might want to wait for a second source on that news for confirmation.  Rarely is there something that can be described as insightful, original and true in a Phil post ... unless it is in direct contradiction to one of his earlier posts.  So that would include his recently made-up reason for posting.  It's actually easier for him to make this claim than to face and address the array of valid criticisms.  He's painted himself into the proverbial corner.  More likely sources for continual repetition include a search for acceptance, obsessive compulsion, mixed in with a touch of narcissism.  Look for the number of times that the word "I" is used throughout his writing. You never read my posts, you just comment
on what you think I say. Excellent example of projection.  How many times has he mischaracterized others' statements to try to bolster his own fractured fairy tales?  And since he starts the latest post out admitting that he is "posting the same thing over and over again," why on earth would everyone need to keep reading what he is repeating in order to comment on what he says? Maybe I
should add cartoons next time?Good idea.  It certainly wouldn't do anything to bring down the average quality of the posts. This is the
Recreational Play Forum.  Players come here to talk about playing VP for
entertainment.Exactly, so starting a thread to claim that one's faulty math has been correct all along really has no place in this section of the forum, right? So, are we to believe the original reason, I'm not trying to prove anything. the second implied reason,
Here is
math showing that I have been right all along., or the made-up reason when his cover was blown?

My motivation for posting the same thing over and over again is I
enjoy watching you guys take turns at my posts.Which is more believable?  Which puts Phil in a more noble light? A fourth reason that may partially explain his actions is that mabye he can't really help himself.Onemoretry's and Galeygoo's comments are spot on, poignant, and succint.  "Final words."  "End of Story."  Right!  A better maxim might be, "You ain't seen nuttin' yet!"  Well, we actually have seen it before ... quite a few times, really.  But darn it, we're going to see it again ... and again ... and again ...  and again ... Edit:  And we'll probably see it in just a few hours!
